Grand Bay Hotel San Francisco

Beds are really comfortable. Rooms are generous and clean and nicely appointed. Elevators are quick, we never had to wait. Staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Room rates are reasonable but not after they add on a $20. a day resort fee and $30. a night parking. Small cafe/market in lobby was only open until 1pm.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful! I want to especially thank Benny, Trey, Nacho, Hatan, Michael, Jeesy, and the entire restaurant and bar team in general for their first-class service.

It was a nice place during my visit. I would like to recommend the hotel Grand Bay hotel San Francisco good location and amazing view to the bahia, good services nice pool and attention specially in Restaurant offered by Alicia.

Alicia was outstanding—professional, warm, and made our business lunch seamless. Great service! I’ll definitely be back again!

The Waterside Kitchen Restaurant is excellent, carrying on the tradition from when this property was a Sofitel. There are about 40 menu items, perfect for anything from a snack to a full dinner. There's a pleasant view of the Redwood Shores Lagoon, and the team of servers work together with both professionalism and a welcoming smile. I have been treated especially well by Jose and Nathan on numerous visits.

I was greeted by Elaine. She was so kind and helpful getting my room together. I heard they had robes and she made sure to get me one for my visit. I later had dinner in the restaurant. Everyone was amazing. Nathan, Trey, Michael, and Carlos were all so Helpful. I will Definitely be back here when I come to the bay area.

Elaine (the employee who checked me in and helped me with printing some important documents), is the most helpful, kind and efficient person! And when I went down to collect my documents, another guest was raving about how amazing she was for helping them with their reservation. Phenomenal customer service - this is what all hotels should aspire to! Thank you Elaine!

We met on Tuesday and Wednesday for appetizers and drinks. Can’t say enough about the service and staff: Benny, Carlos, Nathan, Jose, JC, Chelsea, Nacho, & Miguel. They seem to work well together and made sure we were taken care of. Again…great service

My husband and I sat at the bar and had dinner and craft cocktails. Great view of the water and it was a perfect setting for a Friday night. Michael the bartender was terrific in both service and his skill at making the perfect martini! Highly recommend!
