The McCormick Scottsdale

Hotel was clean. All staff were very helpful and kind. Golf across the pond was also very fun. Terry in the bar is the best makes you feel at home and makes a mean Crown and ginger!

Property was clean and simple to navigate

The staff exhibited unprofessional behavior. When I inquired about my breakfast, they responded with an attitude. Despite paying for breakfast to be included, I was unable to enjoy it due to the staff’s inaction. They failed to offer me anything to eat or drink for 15-20 minutes while I was seated at the dinner table. I attempted to address this issue twice during dinner and lunch, but the same outcome occurred. The staff never acknowledged my toddler or myself. As a result, I had to make an effort to drive to another restaurant. I had previously checked in early and was approved. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that my room was not yet prepared. I had been driving for several hours and was eager to rest, but I was met with disappointing news and rude staff. Despite not being able to stand up for myself I was fearful of speaking up because I was traveling alone with my child and felt excluded and dismissed. The only staff member who was kind to my son and myself was the cleaning lady. I appreciate her kindness.

The location of the property was good. Restaurants and shopping nearby.

The property is dated, not to standard with rates and location. There was ants crawling on the bedroom desk, reception area looked old and dirty.

We would have expected much more from the room at a resort in Scottsdale, and especially at this price. It was clean. But with dated, old carpet, soft mushy mattress, no hair dryer, very few options for charging devices and not one of them was convenient to the bedside. The breakfast was excellent! Avocado toast was the best I've ever had - truly! And our waiter, Irma, was efficient and kind. The staff at front desk were also efficient and kind. So, room was meh. Customer service and food were very good

This place is great, lake side view, amenities that do the job especially if anyone’s planning to stay somewhere reliable, with fast WiFi and a setting that’s wonderful for working on your laptop. The restaurant I’m especially is great the server & bartender, Terry, is especially wonderful and super kind + accommodating. He’s 100% elevated the experience being here!
