Comfort Inn Fort Mill Amusement Park at Carowinds Blvd

Comfort Inn was perfect. Clean room, great front desk staff and breakfast was great too. As long as I have my eggs, sausage and toast I was good till dinner. I will deft revisit this Comfort Inn again soon.

The front desk person Maria was kind and patient during my difficult check in. The location is perfect for Carowinds and the rooms are clean. Free breakfast was also a plus.

I've stayed here a few times, but this is my first visit since 2018. This is a larger, 4-story Comfort Inn that dates back to the 80's In the 2010's, the original building reveived a large addition housing the lobby and breakfast room. My room was 133, a standard king room. This hotel has received the "hardwood-look laminate" floor treatment, which I can't say I'm a fan of. The new flooring appear to be the only major renovation work done here since my last visit. The furniture is noticeably worn and battle-scarred (the desk is especially worn), and the corner chair has noticeable stains and/or grime. The tub drain didn't seal completely, allowing water to drain out even when closed. At least the room was clean despite the wear and everything was functional (one of the light switches by the entrance controlled the outlets by the desk; if they aren't working, flipping the switch should take care of it.) Their hot breakfast buffet gets bonus points for offering seasoned breakfast potatoes. The staff was friendly during the few times I spoke with them. The internet worked fine - decent speed and no random disconnects. The Comfort Inn Fort Mill/Carowinds Blvd. is decent and has a good breakfast, but it needs a renovation that goes beyond cold laminate flooring. The hotel is clean but worn, with potential once it's remodeled - or at least gets new furniture. For a low enough rate, it's still a good option for Carowinds/South Charlotte/Fort Mill visitors or a pit stop on I-77.

The gas smell in the room and hallway made us sick and told staff and they didn’t care just moved us rooms and the room was not good at all toilet ran non stop and the refrigerator didn’t work and pee stain on sheets staff was to busy sleeping in the back room when I went to check out and had to wait for a bit to get helped

Location and breakfast were great! Value for the money.

The lady at the front desk was so nice! The breakfast was amazing! Clean rooms!! Although pool wasn’t open open till May it looked great!

We had a great time. Nice and clean rooms very very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. All of the staff was super friendly and it was perfectly located for a day at Carowinds.

Clean and comfortable. A few minor flaws with peeling paint and rusted light fixtures. Door to room was full of holes that were hard to understand. I guess someone was bad at darts. Main lobby smelled old and musty which it wasn’t that way on New Year eve.
