Swissotel Chicago

Really friendly and helpful staff! The room was spacious and clean. It's very close to the river, and everything is walkable. Would definitely stay here again! Kia at the front desk was really helpful with getting me a late checkout.

Bathroom is dated and old

We stayed at this hotel for six nights. On one of the days of our stay, we had to call twice in the late afternoon to ask that the room be made up. On the final day of our stay,, we arrived back at 7PM and the room had not been made up at all. We had to call for towels. No apology from staff for not servicing our room. We ate at the Palm restaurant on our first night there. The food was mediocre and the service was non-existent. Another disappointment. Finally, this hotel charges a resort fee of $30 a night. There is no pool and there are no other added amenities to justify this additional charge. This is supposed to be a four star hotel. It is far from anything other than average. With so many great hotels in Chicago, we would absolutely not stay at the Swissotel again.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Swissôtel Chicago. From the very beginning, our experience was exceptional thanks to Simona, who made check-in seamless and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly valued as guests! Our room offered a beautiful view of the Chicago River and city skyline & was very conveniently located - allowing us to easily explore the city while enjoying a comfortable retreat when needed. A special thank you to Simona for her kindness, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality. She helped make our trip extra special, and we look forward to staying at Swissôtel again in the future!

You can always count on Swissotel to have the highest quality of standards and customer service. The customer service is superb. A Special shout out to the assistant front desk manager Simona who is able to make some arrangement and put us on a higher floor with a good Chicago River view - which brought a huge smile on my 8yo’s face!! This location is very convenient as it is within walking distance to many attractions. The only minor thing is some part (lower corner) of the shower tiles look like it can be upgraded as it is showing wears considering the standard of the Swissotel brand. The AC in the room is very quiet compared to most hotels. I will definitely bring my family to stay here again.

Just the location

We’ve been in the hotel 3 days and none of the days were cleaned. The didnt change beddings nor towels

​The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is excellent for exploring downtown Chicago, with everything within easy walking distance. The view from the window was outstanding. The staff handled everything professionally and efficiently. It’s a very good choice for anyone looking to stay centrally and experience the Windy City.

The prices at the bar and for breakfast felt too high.

What I liked about the property was the view being able to see the navy pier and security, one key card.

But I did not like about the property is no swimming area , paying for other channeling

This elegant hotel has amazing meeting space and guest rooms with views of Chicago and Lake Michigan. The front desk staff (Kia) was responsive and the bartender was friendly.
