Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West End

Room was spacious and well equipped.

Darn multiple buildings on the property, but the building numbers are not necessarily marked very clearly. It would be helpful for the property to add some signage or something indicating which building is which. I checked in at night, and it was particularly difficult to see any signage if it was present.

I had two reservations for one room each. I changed start date on.both and they ended up cancelling one claiming I was a no show. So my son was denied a room. Very nasty aboit it at front desk w no attempt to help us. We stayed in the place 4 days and never received any kind of room service--no sheets towels etc absolutely nothing. We were on the 1st floor and constant stomping from room above for three nights--front desk would do nothing. No hot water in tub--complained for 3 days and front desk would do nothing. Nothing is what we should have paid for lousy service like this. We will never stay here again.

The staff here is wonderful. The spaces are huge with lots of communal and private areas good hvac and ac and heat. Easy location. Like tiny apartments. The owners are lucky to have the staff in front, they do an excellent job.

There should be deep cleans of the rooms outside of the usual maid services and in the opening hallways especially the floorboards. And cupboards. This should not be added to anyone’s current work but be an additional thing.
