"Exceptional"

Wow, what an amazing place. The gardens are sublime, the room huge and the building very beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our breakfast at the dining table, where we met some other travellers from different countries. The hotel is up a bit of a hill so the walk to town is not a problem but if you are not up for a steepish climb you may prefer to get a tuk tuk back. The view from the bungalow is amazing and there is the opportunity to visit a nearby hotel by the same owners with spectacular views. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accom.

Everything was absolutely incredible. It exceeded our expectations and was by far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It was 5+ stars. The staff were kind and attentive and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Cannot recommend enough. We will be back.

The House is amazing, amazing views, a perfect blend of confort and history that will make the experience very worth it. The breakfast was very good, the staff, especially the person who received us the day we arrived (i am so sorry I don’t remember the name) was super helpfull with information, organizing tours and everything else we asked. . Would stay again for sure.

"A beautiful retreat overlooking Kandy"

This is a spectacularly beautiful bungalow overlooking the lake and temple. It was built in 1928 and has been wonderfully maintained. The staff are excellent;Akilla, Chumidoo and Sahaan ( apologies for the spelling!) were incredibly helpful. The breakfasts are great as are the other meals if you want to dine in-house. Highly recommend.
