Columbus Marriott

Nice weekend getaway.

The property was we'll maintain and the staff was excellent. Will always be my go to place to stay when I come to Columbus.

I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott in Columbus, GA! From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, exactly what you hope for when you’re traveling often! One of the biggest highlights of my stay was Joyce in the M Club. Joyce was an absolute delight and truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. When you spend a lot of time away from home, small gestures of kindness and genuine hospitality make a huge difference, and Joyce exemplifies that perfectly. She made the M Club feel warm and inviting, and I can’t thank her enough for her care and professionalism. The convenience of having an M Club and restaurant on site was fantastic, and every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming. It’s clear that this property takes pride in both its facilities and its people. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Columbus. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers!

We arrived on 9/12 and was excited to see the historic building. That quickly was the highlight. Check-in the two front desk associates were extremely rude (to everyone checking in). Upon arriving to our room it looks like they did a sloppy update. There has been major water damage, there is black mold in the room. The bathroom has a water leak and the floor is buckling. The room door didn’t lock or unlock properly. The room itself was not super clean. Major cobwebs in the corners of the windows, the remote had been colored all over and barely worked. The shower did not like like it had been cleaned. This was definitely not a pleasant stay.

Rooms were so clean! Staff was EXCELLENT and the nicest people ever!! Beds were so comfortable. Lots of Parking. Pool was amazing!! Clean towels and lots of chairs. M Club for breakfast was amazing and the employee running that kept it so clean and fresh!! She was super sweet!! Loved it all around!! Would most definitely stay again if I’m in the area!!!

There was an issue with our door locking properly. The locking mechanism was getting stuck causing issues with closing the door. The bathroom door handle was loose making it hard to close it.

We were staying at another hotel and needed to switch day-of. I was able to speak with Teyana, the front desk supervisor. She was unbelievably kind and hospitable. I explained our situation and she worked hard to try to meet our needs. It felt like she was doing this for her own family. It’s rare you experience customer service like this anymore. The hotel is nice and comfortable but the people make it great!

Check in person was rude. Other than that facility was clean and bartender in bar area was great.

Oh my goodness! Columbus , GA, Marriott was exquisite experience. The establishment was so beautiful . The transformation of the building was very surprising. When I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the Bellman named Eric. He was very nice , kind & knowledgeable of the establishment. As I walked to the front desk, I was then greeted by 3 of the most beautiful women with huge smiles on their faces who also welcomed me. They were Aurey, Shaniya & Tate, who were also nice, kind,sweet & very helpful. This was my 1st time, but it will not be my last. I want to thank them all for making our stay perfect . It was our Family Reuion, so we had a banquet style setup. The room was huge with a dance floor in which I love it because I love to dance. Our color this year was purple, which is considered royalty. Well let me tell you the tables were beautiful . The food my,my,my the food was very delicious. I pigged out for real. I went back for 2nds & 3rds. (LOL) Well I went back to the room which was very nice. The shower made me feel like a brand new woman because the shower head flows over your entire body like rain. The bed made me feel like I was in a cocoon. I sleep like a newborn baby. Last, the breakfast which was included was the best omelet I've ever had. Everything was good. Overall, as you can see, I had one of the best times in my life. We will be back next year, no doubt. Thank you all!
