Location is great.. Atmosphere in the common areas is the highlight of the hotel.. The rooms are average to below average and this is my 7th time being here. If it weren’t for my job paying for it I wouldn’t pay what they ask. For the value you can definitely find better. The bars are overpriced and the menu is suspect. The outside bar that services the pool is a great idea, but the customer service is by far the worst I’ve seen with the exception of maybe one of the bartenders.. They capitalize 1000% on their location and access to beach views and places to layout. Such a disappointment for what it really could be.

We had a wonderful time at the Caribe Hilton. The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was attentive and efficient. All of the umbrella/chair people at the beach were super helpful and we loved Hiram Avila at the swim up bar!

The facility is excellent. The locatioon superb. The ambiance , the best.

Some areas of the pool need tener loving care.

Vanessa from the Health Club, who sets up umbrellas and chairs on the beach, is a gem. So helpful, kind, enthusiastic, and careful. Wanted to give her all the praise. Thank you so much for giving us such a great experience!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Caribe. Before arriving, I had read a lot of mixed reviews, so I was a little unsure, but overall our experience was very good. When we first checked in, we were assigned to the Garden Wing, which did not have a view on the lower floor and no actual balcony yet felt more like a newer building. However, the staff was very accommodating and moved us to the Beach Wing. The Beach Wing had a better location, but the rooms were older with carpet and it was surprisingly noisy at night. The first night there were people yelling, and another night there was a noise that seemed to go on all night. Aside from the room noise, everything else was great. The kids had an amazing time playing basketball, hanging out at the pool, and enjoying the beach. I personally loved the outdoor bar and probably had more passion fruit mojitos than I should have. The only minor downside was that there were not many restaurants within walking distance, so we usually took a cab or Uber across the bridge to eat. Overall, we had a great time, and I have nothing bad to say about the resort. It is a great place for families, and we made some really good memories there. I felt everyone was nice on staff.

We just returned from a family stay at the Caribe Hilton, and it was outstanding from start to finish. This is not a hyper-modern, glass-and-steel luxury hotel. It is something better in its own way: a beautifully maintained, thoughtfully updated classic resort that was built right, in one of the best locations in Puerto Rico. The setting is exceptional, with ocean views in multiple directions and a protected beach that turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. The beach experience deserves special mention. Even when the ocean outside the reef was rough, the water inside remained calm, swimmable, and perfect for snorkeling. It was serene, easy to access, and consistently had seating available. For a family, it was close to ideal. Service across the property was consistently excellent. The team was friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Housekeeping was phenomenal — proactive, attentive, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. Valet service was fast and smooth (our car was almost always ready within minutes), and the overall operation of the hotel felt polished and well run. Dining was also a highlight. Oceans restaurant delivered a top-tier experience, and the more casual beachfront café was excellent enough that we returned multiple times. Even the ice cream and cookie shop became a favorite stop (the white macadamia nut cookies are worth it). One moment that stood out in particular was how the staff responded to a brief family medical situation during our stay. Without hesitation, multiple team members stepped in immediately, stayed with us, and ensured everything was handled professionally and with care, including coordinating paramedics. It was handled exactly right and gave us a great deal of confidence in the team. Management was equally impressive. Eric, the hotel manager, was responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to guest experience. His follow-up and attention to detail reinforced everything we were already seeing on the ground. No hotel is perfect, and breakfast service could be improved to better match the high standards seen elsewhere on the property. That said, it was a small issue in the context of an otherwise exceptional stay. For our family, this is a true five-star experience. It may not be designed to be a sleek, ultra-modern property, but as a classic luxury resort that has been updated and is run extremely well, it excels. We would absolutely return and would strongly recommend it to others. This is easily one of the top five hotel experiences we have had anywhere in the world.

I love how much there was to do there. We could shop, sit by the pool or beach. We could play volleyball or tennis; grab a drink or lunch
