Motel 9 University-Downtown

When you first pull in to the hotel, the area looks a bit scetchy, but the rooms aren't that bad.......I did encounter a couple of roaches though as well

The bathtub of the room we stayed in was not in a perfect condition but moderately acceptable. Friendly staff.

My room was not clean. Hairs all over, dirty toilet, and sheets did not feel clean

Nothing. Nasty. Dangerous. Dirty. Rude. Old. Horrible.

The desk service was good, the place itself is what you would expect. Its just a cheap place to stay. Don't expect any cleaning of your room or a pool you would want to go into.

Place was dirty rips in the bedsheets new wood on door frame obviously kicked in before couldn’t stay the night the lady in the front office was nice I just wished the place matched

The service was exceptional, the location was awesome, and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Warning, up to 8 cigarette burns in one bed spread. Also blood stains on the bed spread. Grossed me out so bad, I had to find a different hotel immediately, could not even stay there one night. I came to Austin for a medical procedure and could not imagine myself recovering there. The Rodeway Inn did not feel they did anything wrong as they still charged me for the night though I couldn't stay there, due to their cancellation policy - I think another policy should come into play when you find cigarette burns and blood stains on the bedspread. Expedia took care of me though, so in the end it worked out. Also, the neighborhood surroundings are really awful. Bad part of the city.
