Malmaison Edinburgh

After an iffy start involving a room change,everything else was excellent. Manager Kris, Receptionist Celeste and bar and restaurant member of staff Hannah Went out of their way to help us. Food and service was brilliant. Well done. Breakfast was especially delicious.

We were in Edinburgh for a wedding, and it was during the Fringe Festival. We loved this quiet location! The neighborhood was walkable and beautiful.

Excellent hotel with two on-site restaurants, easy access to the tram and bus routes, great staff, and an overall solid value for the money as spent. No need to be in the heart of the Royal Mile when you can stay here. I’d book again.

Great stay! Lovely clean room and very helpful staff, in particular Hannah who was extra friendly during breakfast. The location is also very convenient with a tram stop very close by, making it easy to get to Murrayfield Stadium. Would definitely stay here again.

We had dinner for 6 and food was delicious! Prices extremely reasonable too. Our server Billie was fantastic and very attentive. Highly recommend

Comfortable room and bed but too warm during the night and no aircon.

Bedroom pretty sparse, no bottled water, comfortable beds, fixtures and fittings in the bedroom were a little tired. Bathroom was good.

Great location in Leith, short walk to the tram stop. Quiet spot but with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel bar is nice. Our room had really comfy beds, good blackout curtains. Plenty of storage and well kitted out. Towels big and pillows particularly soft and lovely. Good quality bed linen. Nice to be able to have buffet breakfast and have cooked food done to order. Staff in all areas of the hotel really pleasant and helpful. Only minor signs of age, some chipped furniture pieces in the room. Lots of USB points, but not USB C. One did not work but I only found out later in the day, so if you use the charger points, check before you leave.

Firstly we would like to thank Oona and Dalton at check in. They went over and above and made my daugther birthday celebrations one to remember. We booked a last minute trip as a little treat to celebrate and we were treated to an upgrade and were blown away at how big the room was and the amazing view. Shower was fantastic and plenty of tea and coffee to enjoy. Plenty of food options although we did not use the restaurant and a vending machine with anything you need. We had an amazing stay. Would highly recommend- all the staff were super helpful and friendly and the location and free parking was perfect for what we needed.

Good amenities, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Although I arrived late due to a delayed flight, the check-in process was really smooth, and my room was very clean, spotless, and had nice views. The location of this hotel is really nice. Just outside, you have the harbour where the walk along the harbourside is serene and peaceful. Due to a business trip, I wasn't able to explore surrounding areas properly but really enjoyed the sunset from my room and then from the harbour walk. Breakfast was top class and had a few options. I would definitely come back.
