TRIP INN Hotel Uebachs

This was my first time visiting Duesseldorf and so my hotel selection was based on other people’s reviews. I ultimately chose this hotel and it turned out to have been an excellent choice. I am traveling alone and so I selected a basic room, which turned out to be larger than what I expect from a European hotel room. There is a good sized closet with a digital safe inside, refrigerator, tv, desk, a couple of chairs, a small round table, and even a built in bench. They offer nice little extras like a shoe horn, shoe polishing mitt, comb (new in plastic), and a toiletry kit that includes Q-tips, cotton pads, shower cap, nail file, and a small sewing kit with a safety pin as well. The only thing to consider is that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. The breakfast is one of the best breakfast selections that I have ever seen in a hotel, especially considering that it is included for free! There are choices for just about anyone’s preference, including fresh fruits (already cut up), yogurts, cereal, breads and rolls, meats, cheeses, anti-pasta type selections, and cake. For Americans they have scrambled eggs (real eggs, not the microwave in a bag eggs), bacon, and what they call meatballs. They even have a noodle and sushi-type buffet for those that prefer an Asian breakfast. They also have a jam and jelly buffet and a large tea selection. The dining room is very nice with a fine dining type atmosphere.

Came into town for the marathon. Great spot. No complaints. Nice breakfast too.

Felt unwelcome. Welcome messagewhen I arrived: Your room is on the third floor. That was it!!! Got the message. Will not got back there.

I might have been lucky, but my single room was great, as requested it was on a high floor away from the lift. It had a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed and was decent sized. Breakfast was very good as well. The only thing I can criticize is that you can hear your neighbors below/next door, so would recommend earplugs.

Hotel is located 15 min walk from the central station, and Walking distance to shopping, dining areas. Facility itself is a bit old, but the room is well cleaned. Enjoyed breakfast buffet including Japanese dishes. Very much happy and satisfied for the amount what we have paid.

Pros: Hotel was quiet which I liked Within walking distance to the Düsseldorf main train station and other transportation routes Friendly staff Cons: They have no bellboy service, we had to carry all our luggage up to our room ourselves in a very tiny elevator Breakfast was passable but mostly all cold stuff Bathroom was so tiny, you could barely fit two people in there Would I stay here again? No.

The staff were lovely and helpful. It was in a good location.

cant fault anything with this hotel except no aircon in room so getting a good night sleep for the 2 nights I stopped was a struggle. shame really.

Great location, cozy room, street noise was kind of loud. Very close good food.

朝食が充実しています。納豆、味噌汁、かまぼこなどの日本食を楽しめました。洋食のコーナーも種類が豊富で、３泊しても飽きませんでした。 ホテル自体は新しくはありませんが、清潔に保たれていて、特に問題点はありませんでした。バスタブ付きのお部屋だったので、お風呂でもリラックス出来ました。海外在住の日本人にオススメのホテルです。
