Staff was excellent

Wish activities were a little more publicized.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Appreciated the beach set up of lounge chairs and umbrellas included with your resort fee. Beautiful ocean views from the hotel.

Did not care for the pool set-up, which consisted of three pools architecturally tiered, thus ALOT of steps up and down from pool to pool, and a long walk to the beach once you reached the bottom of the stairs. Restaurants were very, very expensive for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Property felt claustrophobic since it was self contained and without a good beach walk. Also, you could not self-park since it was valet only at an exorbitant price.

100% amazing and would go back again. The place, the amenities, the food, and staff - were all top notch. Best Luau experience, too.

Nice location in Wailea, lots of services/experiences to take advantage of. We went on a Costco package that included parking, breakfast, and a $100 daily resort credit...otherwise it would have been a much more expensive trip. They have a shuttle that will take you to a few places locally and there are shops and restaurants in walking distance so if you're just looking to relax and resort, you could get away with not having a car, but to do any of the classic Maui experiences, you'll need one. Pools and beach were great. Food was all great, but overpriced, so we ended up off resort for a lot of meals.

The hotel is lovely inside and out. Room was clean, decent/partial view of beach and pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. But...little if any attention appears to have been paid to soundproofing. We were endlessly aware of and bothered by the noise of other guests, in the adjoining room, the hallway, and the room above us. For the $$ we paid, we expected better.

The Andaz is a wonderful place stay. The views are incredible, the staff is very friendly, and there are so many ways to relax and enjoy Maui right from the resort. We loved that the pool had complimentary sunscreen and poolside service. The activities available in the resort fee more than pay for themselves, and there are plenty of great food options. We took advantage of the 45 minute photo session, and our photos turned out incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

The Andaz is truly a remarkable experience. Every single person you talk to there is kind and so sweet. They are responsive to needs and make your experience and visit to Maui truly unforgettable. They have a remarkable concierge team to help explore the island. The ammenities they provide that are included in the resort daily fee is also great! That include the beach access/set up of chairs/towels/umbrellas, using snorkel gear, sunscreen, water always available, nice welcome bags/snacks, and other activities around the resort. Housekeeping was so kind and really did a great job. The rooms are amazing and we really loved the shower that has the glass see through to the bedroom (we were honeymooning). We did have the suite which also included a bath tub. The pools are great! The kids really stayed down at the main pool by the bar and the other pools ended up being adults only which was really nice. Great drinks and food. We had daily buffet breakfast in our stay and that was really top notch! I liked that they did change up some things everyday but overall the food was fantastic (especially the pog juice and island meals). The valet and parking was SO TIMELY. We didn't wait more than 5 minutes for them to get our car every time we left. That was a great experience. I do think Andaz is pretty well situated among the island where it wasn't horrible to explore the whole island and od the activities we wanted to. This area is also really nice with the walking path, the shops near by (make sure to get shaved ice at the Vintage Island Shaved Ice at the Shops of Wailea), MonkeyPod, and lots of food options to explore. Overall we truly enjoyed our honeymoon here and honestly we considered staying at the Grand Wailea but when I saw a review that said you don't get welcome lei's, I opted out. I can confirm you get a lei when you arrive here at the Andaz and we did venture down the path to the Grand Wailea and the vibe down there is not the same. Not as kind and welcoming at that resort and I was extremely happy we decided with Andaz. We will be back!

Beautiful resort, staff all very kind, loved that there were many different pool options/vibes in addition to the gorgeous beach. Not like other resorts where you sometimes feel like you have to hang out with a crowd of strangers to enjoy time in the pool.
