Swan, Thatcham by Marston's Inns

had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Swan in Thatcham. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being overbearing. The food was outstanding – beautifully presented, full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, with a lovely charm that makes you feel right at home. Everything from the décor to the service was spot on. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but The Swan certainly does. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow, i love this pub. I meant to come with some friends but they left me hanging after an emergency. Thankfully, i met some lovely locals and had a few drinks at the bar whilst i waited for the next train. The bartenders, Lucy and Charlie were super friendly and i hope i can return with my pals next time around

I've been to the Swan pub in Thatcham several times and it never fails to impress. Poppie, the staff member, is always friendly and makes a fuss of my dog Harry, making every visit a pleasure. Great atmosphere and service!

Food is delicious and the pub garden is perfect for warm summer nights. Shoutout to Lucy for always being so friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend!

Comfortable clean rooms with everything you need. Fantastic value.

The accommodation was more than adequate, it was clean but small. We were advised that breakfast would be between 7am to 9am. It no-one about and hotel closed hence no breakfast. Considering we were not happy with the meal the night before we went without quite happily. Altogether we would not stay there again. It must be said that all the staff were delightful.

Came down for a family meal earlier today. The cowboy burger was divine, Lucy Amy and Poppie were very helpful. Would 100% recommend!
