My stay was brief but in general it was ok. Was hoping to have some amenities like a microwave or refrigerator as I had some food that ended up getting spoilt as the kitchen wasn’t opened and no refrigerator to preserve it

I paid £57 for a triple room and it was what I would expect for the price! The woman who greeted us was cheerful and told us about local places to eat and parking was easy nearby. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bed was comfy and the view was great. The building is generally tired and would need a huge injection of money to bring it up to its former glory but it did us fine for an overnight stay. If you are picky, pay double and stay elsewhere!

Maybe you couldn’t expect more for the lower than average price. Maybe it’s fair to say that you get what you pay for. And yes, I just wanted a clean room as cheap as possible to sleep that night. But I wasn’t expecting this state of wear and tear. In all fairness the sheets and towels seemed clean, and the food and music downstairs in the pub were nice. But beware if you decide to stay here, set your expectations low to avoid disappointments.

Excellent stay for the price it was

So bad we left without staying the night. Dirty, uncomfortable beds, dirty mouldy bathroom, stains on the floor. Mouldy used spoon in one of the drawers. Mould around the window.

Was good for the night stop over

Could feel every spring in the mattress. Had to do a lot of loops to find parking 10 min away. Loud drunks on street in the evening. Friendly staff and good neighborhood

Great place for a couple of nights stop. Room tired but clean. For the price it was perfect. Great food downstairs.

Bed was ok room was in terrible condition carpet thread bare . Decoration in room worst ever , one working shower between like 6 people , prob the worst hotel I have stayed in

Certainly not the Ritz but …. Easy , cheap and simple. Can’t complain for the price. Would happily stay again .
