One of my favorite stays in my trip through England. Every one is so kind and jolly! Breakfast was 10/10 delicious. The room was very spacious and clean.

The manager was very friendly and the breakfast was great. The meal in the evening was typical pub fare, nothing special but a shout out for the whitebait which was great,. The family room was huge with plenty of space for everyone. Easy to find and to park. Quiet at night.

The bar was not stocked with the range of soft drinks that we would have liked. One (female) member of staff was quite grumpy - especially when the young male member of staff made a mistake about when we were supposed to pay (before the meal , not after). He was clearly learning on the job and a bit pf patience would heave helped. Lasagna portion was small with large amount of garlic bread

Bathroom was a little dated

It was spotless and roomy, very comfortable on the grounds of a lovely pub. The breakfast was so nice, as were the meals and the atmosphere in the pub. Parking space is ample.
