Sydney Hyde Park Paxsafe Apartments

Located is good but not clean enough. Rooms are dirty. Air conditioning not working. Was too hot and we slept without air conditioning

It was close to the train station and it was within walking distance to Chinatown and great food places. The Apartment itself was nice and comfortable, i liked that there was a great view of the city. Staff at the counter was nice and welcoming and overall good experience.

My only comment about this area is the bathtub shower, not a fan of these and it tends to get a little slippery but just need to be careful when coming out, also if floor mats can be provided for this.

The balcony view was amazing, was really pleased with it

The bed blankets weren’t washed, I got given the same blankets as the previous guests that stayed in my room. Blankets also had stains on it

Very good location. The studio apartment was roomy, had a good shower and functional kitchen for a short stay. The management were excellent at providing a bonus when there was a delay checking in.

As there was no on site reception it was not possible to leave bags for later pick up or if arriving early. It did not impact us but could be a probelm for others.

Property itself good, pool, gym, spa great. Room not the best. Noisy, aircon poor, room smell not the best. Aircon noisy couldn't sleep with it on in 30 degrees heat in a small room. Need to be better.

Convenient

The view and location were great.

The apartment is very tired. The roof is badly damaged near the front door (trim dangling, water damage, mould etc). The double bed was very uncomfortable, probably the worst we have slept in over many years of travel. The bed-side lamp had dangerously exposed wiring. The bathroom floor was stained. The curtains were coming off their railing and dificult to move. Overall the apartment would be a great place to stay if it just had some basic attention paid to it. A couple of days work and not a lot of money would be all that was needed to bring it up to scratch. For the price we paid, it was quite disappointing.
