Sundial Beach Resort & Spa

We absolutely loved our stay at Sundial Resort! It was the perfect place for our family—there’s truly something for everyone. We spent our days between the pool, the beach, the amazing Shell Station, and fun games of pickleball… and still didn’t get to do it all! Breakfast was delicious each morning, and we especially loved relaxing with a poolside lunch at Turtle’s Tiki Bar—great food and even better views. The whole experience was relaxing, fun, and full of special memories. We can’t wait to come back!

The pool/beach area was amazing! The poolside service was awesome. My only concern was me a senior and friend staying with me a senior were assigned a 4 th floor room with no elevator. It took almost an hour to find a space that had an elevator. Jared the security guy was so helpful. Then for check out the system evidently had an issue and tried to charge me for what I had paid for on Expedia. Loved the resort not the service or convenience

We saw this property online and it looked beautiful - just what we wanted right on the beach. We stayed in the two bedroom condo with a partial ocean view.. the condos that are oceanfront are still under reconstruction from hurricane Ian. When we checked in our room wasn’t ready. We went to the pool area and enjoyed some ice cream from the snack bar down there.. we finally got our room a little after 4 PM. We stayed in room F 101. It’s a nice room, but definitely not the view I was expecting. There was construction going on the beachfront condos. They start at 7:30 AM.- this would be a fun resort for families. They had a cute pool area and a nice beach with a ton of shells..

Great room Food and service was great. Noseeums are an issue but Mother Nature always wins.!

Very clean, large and nicely renovated condos! Staff and hotel were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Fathers Day Weekend Great weekend at this hotel, Is still recovering from the hurricane but things are moving along great. Japanese restaurant hibachi style is very good and tasty. Had dinner prepared by Laysel. Very good cook and engaging. Would support this hotel and the island.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sundial. It was great to be back in Sanibel.

This property was heavily damaged by Hurricane Ian and its been a long recovery. The price I paid to stay there was not related to the condition of the property. Only one pool is open and many buildings unoccupied. Occupancy when I was there was probably 10% but I was put in the farthest building away from the pool and beach amenities and I was on the 4th floor of a building that still has no working elevator. That was not known to me when I booked. I would not recommend staying at the hotel for quite some time until all renovations are completed.

The first time we visited the Sundial was October 22 and had to leave part way through our stay due to hurricane Ian. We have been looking forward to returning, and had the opportunity to do so this week for a few nights with our adult son. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in H block (203) which had everything you could need. There were a couple of minor issues promptly remedied by reception. The main area is fully open, pool, water sports, bikes, fitness room (really good). We had drinks and food at the main restaurant and Tiki bar, both excellent (chicken tacos, salads etc) The laundry in the building was not finished but used the one in block D after second time of trying to find (a sign would be useful), $4 in quarters for a wash and dry. Played pickle ball really badly, went kayaking, had a very fun and relaxing stay. Yes there is work going on, but it didn’t disturb us, mainly lots of trucks in the car park delivering materials etc. Great stay.
