Mövenpick Hotel Zuerich-Airport

Its very convenient. The rooms are a bit dark, even with all lights on. The coffee maker, while a nice touch did not work. The shower gel was completely empty and the light over the light stand fid not work. I would stdy again, but a bit of routine maintenance may be good.

The rooms were dirty, had a musky smell . The Bathroom Doors need repair. The Elevators were not working . Had to walk up 6 floors. The A/C was not working , had to sleep with the window open hence the noise. Movenpick instead of pending money on marketing should be spending monies on the upkeep of the Hotel

Not an easy walk from train station to hotel. No one picks up when you call reception.

The room was ok. The reception pretended didn’t see me at first. Didn’t greet. The road to the train station was dark and dangerous. It’s great and convenient that they have airport shuttle. It’s ok for a layover.

Reception staff were excellent. I stupidly left a very expensive gift box of if Neuhaus chocolates in the refrigerator at 9.30 a.m. Monday September 22. I realized when I arrived in Luzern at 11.00 a.m. I called. Spoke to Holla (?). She checked with housekeeping. Nothing. My wife was furious with me.

Stayed there for one night before flying out of Zurich. Nice early free shuttle.

Staffcare amazing!

Everything in this room was dirty: carpet, night stands, worktable, vanity in the bathroom, cups and coffee maker, glasses. Had to use lysol disinfectant on Everything. Service at the restaurant was terrible and the food was inedible. I do not recommend this hotel, one of the worst hotels I stayed in.

Convenient to airport and free shuttle

I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at the Mövenpick Zurich Airport — absolutely unacceptable, especially from an ACCOR property. First, I requested a small amount of olive oil and salt from the restaurant for my own salad. I was flat-out refused and told that "there’s no olive oil in the hotel unless you eat at the restaurant." When I mentioned that I’m a Gold member, the staff suddenly said she could “maybe find some on the second floor.” Completely ridiculous and disrespectful. But the real nightmare was the room — it was crawling with spiders and webs. I couldn’t sleep and went to the reception in the middle of the night to ask for help. I requested to change rooms, but the staff member (Mr. Bilal) just shrugged and told me, “It’s ok, what you want me to do? I’m employee, not my problem.” No manager was available. Zero professionalism or empathy. Only Mr. Saeed tried to help — he followed me to the room with a mosquito zapper trying to kill the spiders. Unbelievable. To make it worse, the bathtub was full of mold and fungus — absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. I felt unsafe using any of the bathroom facilities. I’m a loyal ACCOR Gold member, and this stay was beyond disgraceful. I would never return to this hotel and strongly urge other travelers to avoid it. Management clearly has no control over cleanliness, training, or basic hospitality.
