Treasure Island Hotel

Island treasure hotel in Masbate is centrally located with good cleanliness and free shuttle service to the airport. However, the water faucet in room 101 needs improvement and the reception could be more accommodating instead providing service they rather just give me the access card to the room and they did not even tell me about their hotel where is their facility or what they could offer while I am there. Be prepared to have cash for deposit as they do not have card facilities. I needed to walk in the middle of the day to look for ATM so that I could check in as they said, their card facility is not working that time. So inconvenient and also I check in 1:37PM. The normal check in is 2PM they still charged me 200 pesos for early check in. Hope I can also ask for refund a little bit if I check out 5:45AM to catch my plane back to Manila. My recommendation their staff needs to learn about customer service.

At first I was quite astonished with the hotel’s prices but what I didn’t know and I never expected was it would offer amenities I could only experience in Metro Manila which is a really big and developed city. My kids enjoyed the gigantic slide and mostly explored the pirate themed cave. Their hotel is very Disney coded!! They also have a pool for adults like me. I definitely loved their infinity pool which has water body massage beds in it. I had the pool all by myself since it’s only exclusive for checked-in guests. So far, I have loved our stay here. Will definitely recommend it here.

It was a nice hotel

Staff were very helpful. There was an issue with a double payment and I really appreciate that the manager sorted this out. As usual Filipino hospitality is fabulous!

Many issues. Daily the key doesn’t work. The room featured a dead cockroach on arrival and was equipped with noisy air con and electrics. Breakfast is only local food and menu doesn’t change. Value for money poor

The breakfast … very limited selection for Western tastes. The restaurant… was in a room with no view and no aircon. The food was excellent. Great central location … can easily walk to restaurants including McDonald’s and convenience stores.

Dirty stains on bed sheets, giant cockroaches and bugs in room, very hot and they want to charge you $ for water, the room was ready 2 hours early but they made me pay $ per hour to check in early after sitting in the hot sun all day! Terrible, will NEVER stay here again!
