I booked a standard twin-bedded room, although a solo traveller. It was very spacious and well-lit with tea/coffee making courtesy tray and very clean and spacious en-suite with both bath and shower. I particularly liked the option to have a light breakfast in my room and this was delivered at the requested time and was beautifully served. I had evening dinner in the restaurant on both nights and here again the service was very efficient and the food beautifully served. Throughout my stay the staff were very helpful and were able to answer my queries about buses and taxis.

I would have liked to have been able to open a window to get some fresh air, but appreciate that there are security issues to take into consideration.

I wasn’t expecting much given its location and was not disappointed. Staff were going room to room trying to locate where the smell of weed was coming from as I checked in. The staff were friendly and polite, I’ll leave it there.

Easy parking

This is a friendly, clean hotel..The staff are lovely and the room very clean. This was my second stay here and I would definitely recommend.

Nothing, every thing was good

I recently attended For a family funeral when I arrived. Parking was nice and easy and free of charge we went to reception check-in was nice and smooth we got sent to our room. We’re waiting for us was fresh bottles of water and Welsh cakes we went down to the restaurant in the evening where we was greeted by a lovely waitress Connie she couldn’t do enough for us given my boys colouring and “special ice cream” when going through such a hard time it really is these type of people that make the situation that little bit better. The food was reasonably priced and we thoroughly enjoyed the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean and tidy. We usually stay at the Dragon Hotel however due to it being fully booked we had to make a last-minute booking for the Mercure hotel Swansea. This will now always be my first choice not only because of the standard of the hotel, but so my boys can come back and see Connie.😊
