The Logan Philadelphia, Curio Collection by Hilton

We don't often visit Philadelphia, and the Logan worked out well. Good walking distance to the arts in downtown, a great rooftop deck, if you can get a reservation, and overall a solid place to stay. Overpriced parking, at $72 valet and otherwise $56, where the hotel next door was $45, but this is minor. Everyone was pleasant, and the food selections looked good, although we did not eat here. Would use it again.

This The rooms are outdated and have a persistent unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, the housekeeping service fell well below expectations. The bathroom was not wet-cleaned for several days, and the toilet was left uncleaned for three days until we complained. The beds were made carelessly, with blankets simply pulled over them while the pillows and sheets were left untidy. The bed linens were not changed for three days and were replaced only after we specifically requested fresh bedding. Another disappointment was the room service policy. In addition to the cost of the food and the expected gratuity, the hotel charges both a delivery fee and a separate tray fee, making room service unnecessarily expensive.

On May 5, the PMA Craft Show kicked off its 50th annual show with a banquet at The Logan. This is our annual dinner hosted at The Logan for many years. The reception and dinner were again spectacular, and we look forward to doing it again next year. Thank you to Rick and Alex and everyone on their team for a delightful evening. Thank you to Matt Bassant for organizing a lovely evening and accommodations for our guests. Everyone was impressed with the atmosphere and service and left with smiles on their faces.
