We enjoyed our stay at the Warwick and its great location downtown. All hotel staff were accessible and helpful, with a special shout out to bellman Steve, who went out of his way to facilitate holding our luggage after checkout and delivering it to our car.

"Needs updating"

4.0

This property is in need of work. The staff was great- friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was a 'suite', but was missing furniture where a desk or sofa should be. the door would not lock and the night lock was broken. The furniture that was in the room was extremely worn out and belonged in a Goodwill store.

"Short term pains"

8.0

Staffing shortages and renovations may be impacting this hotel at this time. We were happy with our stay overall, but the wait time for service was longer than I expect. Also the room shortage caused for using rooms that were not on par with the location, but at least the rooms were clean. In our rooms, we did not have garbage cans or working lights in one of the bathrooms.

"The Motel 6 of Marriotts "

2.0

Horrible stay at the Warwick, which is now trying to be a Marriott. It started with a phone call to tell the hotel we would be late by possibly a day because of a cancelled flight. After about an hour and a half of trying to get in contact with them I finally got through. We arrived the next day around 2pm to be told our room wasn't ready. But we prepaid for our room, and we were a day late, so what happened to our room? The staff was baffled. Also, I found out why I had so much trouble getting a hold of them the day before, when the phone rings too much they just take the phones off the hook. Excellent customer service. So we come back to the hotel around 5pm, to find our room still wan't ready, and now there was a line of people who also had rooms that weren't ready. "Everyone calm down," was all the receptionist would tell us. Now the room... lackluster. The bed was hard, the carpet was old, the bathroom was very small. No mini-bar, no complementary water, the shower had bar soap and cheap shampoo and conditioner. This hotel wants to be a Marriott, has the logo up in the lobby, but don't be fooled. The customer service alone wouldn't stand up to the service you get at a Motel 6. Stay elsewhere if you can!

Great location. Rooms are outdated for the cost. Old wall AC units which are very noisy. Lots of wear and tear. Lobby is updated. Rooms are apparently in process or at least planned.

Extremely disappointing experience room booked with hotels.com showed up at the hotel to check in and told that they were overbooked waited three hours for them to accommodate in another hotel unsuccessfully. Six other families were waiting were forced to look for a hotel walking the streets of Philadelphia at 1 AM in the morning.looking for a room Hotel manager was completely dismissive of the episode and spoke to her the next day blaming it on the transition to Marriott

"Don't be fooled."

2.0

This hotel will leave you feeling taken bamboozled. The price, Lobby, Location all lead you to believe that this is a luxury hotel. The rooms are run down and dirty. The valet will gladly take your car at the door but when it's time to check out you are walked through a dingy hallway to a dirty garage to pay at a window and wait for the car to come down an elevator - Lack of service compared to other hotels in the area. They told me the valet is a 3rd party company owned by the garage attached to them and not run by the hotel. They also told me this about all of the restaurants so they would not honor the Marriott benefits for elite members. They don't acknowledge or thank you for being part of the loyalty program either. They do not check the rooms before allowing guests to head up to their room. My room's lights didn't work, fixtures were hanging out of the wall. The walls had holes in them. Someone else's hair was all over the sink. The bathtub was peeling and damaged. wallpaper was peeling off the wall. There were stains all over the radiator cover and walls. Even the iron board was disgusting. They provided just one bar of soap for the sink and bath to share, no body scrub etc like any other marriott would have. At one point upon returning to my room the housekeeper had left their vacuum laying across the threshold of my room (if I were coming out i might have tripped over it.) The furniture was outdated, water damaged, and worn out. I stayed in an "upgraded" King room. It had a large open space that looked like it should have a couch or sitting area - but it was totally empty. Just one beat up chair in the corner. There were no USB charging stations and the outlets were so worn out none of them would hold a charger in securely resulting in a dead phone overnight. The only positive things I can say about this hotel is that the lobby is up to date - it's the only thing that is. The staff were quite friendly - but lacked luxury hotel training/culture.
