Four Points by Sheraton Juneau

Don’t stay here!! When I arrived they had sent me an email stating that they didn’t have any rooms available after I was already on my way in a plane. When I arrived at the hotel they told me they had no rooms available and sent me to the Baronof motel a Best Western establishment in Juneau. They said they were going through construction and had to cancel our reservation. They should have known this before I even booked.

This hotel CANCELLED our reservation just a couple hours before we arrived in Juneau, via EMAIL. They didn't even have the decency to call us. We were already in Seattle airport about to board our flight to Junaeu when I happened to see the email about the cancellation. When I called the hotel to ask about the cancellation and if they were rebooking us elsewhere they replied "we're going to let you take care of that." They did not help us find another hotel - just left us stranded with nowhere to stay and scrambling for a room that night. When we arrived in Juneau we went to the hotel and it's clear they are under serious renovations. There are entire floors in disarray, furniture stacked against windows on several floors. Another guest in our group stayed there and said it was horrible with drilling on opposite walls of her room at all hours, dust everywhere and a mess. This hotel should close to finish renovations and reopen when they're ready to accept reservations again.

Many rooms under renovation with loud construction noises from 7am-10pm. Hotel lobby often left unstaffed for up to an hour with no one reachable by phone. Computers at the front desk often locked out. Overall lousy service and overpriced.

We didn't get to stay at this property. We were moved to another hotel, with a very tiny room. No view, window so dirty that we wouldn't have been able to see anyway. RV size bathtub.

This hotel is undergoing a massive renovation and you will be part of it. The rooms are almost $300 and it is a shame that they don't mention you this. Top five floors are being worked on. They put you in 2nd floor so you can watch the building across. Even in this floor some of the rooms are gutted. The construction work starts at 8:30 am. The lobby is full of rolled up rugs, mismatched thrift store furniture, flashing dim lights behind the ''fireplace'' glass and and staff to go with it. You can pick up good used furniture from the parking lot. Rooms are old and looking tired. They have stand up fans for cooling. The beds are great though. Firm and comfy. They have a gym and the location is super. However if we knew that the establishment was under renovation we would have NEVER chosen this place. Looks and feels like abondoned public housing project. Besides no shuttle to the airport. (Round trip $60) Shame on you SHARETON.

There’s nothing unique about it. We were assigned to a room on second floor; but asked if we can have at upper floors ; the front desk told us all the upper level rooms are under renovation. Next day, from another staff we learned that rooms at 7th floor were available for guests. ! Eighty percent of the hotel is under construction The room right across ours was under construction; there was noise and dust. Had we known about this we would have reserved another Hotel. Expedia did not give this information. So we want to be compensated by some way. Also the room we stayed was spacious but all furniture carpet etc were old. We did not get the route money’s worth.

Next to transit center with lots of panhandling.

Nice stay, comfy bed and pillows. Advertised a Mountain View and my view was of old dilapidated buildings, trash all down the hillside. And windows in the buildings that stared right into my hotel window. I kept my curtains closed the whole time! False advertising. It also advertised a pub, which had closed. Wanted a restaurant onsite. Also false advertising. Staff was very nice.
