Residence Inn by Marriott Amarillo

It was a very good price, good location, staff was nice.

They didn’t tell us until after we paid that their WiFi was not working. Luckily we didn’t need WiFi but had this been for a work trip I would have been very upset. They also gave us a queen bed instead of a king which we paid for and our room was t separate from the rest of the suite like the pictures showed. We would have asked to switch rooms but we were exhausted from a long day of travel.

For a 2 bedroom suite, it was convenient for my family. I would stay in a type of room or hotel like this again.

Dirty, shabby, very sad property

Hotel is in need of renovating! Dated and signs of wear and tear. We pick Residence Inn due to the availability of suite accommodations and pet friendly. Our room was mildew musty upon entering. Carpet very dirty and needs to be renewed. Found pieces of candy/raisins on closet floor.

We did not know the pool was not working / when we booked

Brandon, one of the receptions, was very kind and helpful to not only me but another customer that didn't get the handicapped room they requested. He went and cleaned the room so they could have it. The cleaning staff was short and didn't get to clean the room. Also, I booked a room thru a 3rd party online. The room booked was not the room the 3rd party showed me. Brandon made it right after I showed him my confirmation. He's a great asset to your company!

Our room was on the 1st floor. The highway was close and very loud!

Building is old and tired. Breakfasts were mediocre.
