DoubleTree by Hilton Memphis Downtown

The location was walking distance to Beale Street. The hotel had a bar attached that sold meals and drinks.

Location and lobby were nice.

The room was smelly and I sneezed and itched all night. I took a shower before bed so not sure if it was the soap or the bed. Also, was not prepared for loud cars racing through the streets.

Clean, helpful staff, good location

Overall my experience was a good one. There was some noise, but it was a friday night in downtown Memphis. That's expected. But, the room decor is outdated and needs a new color scheme along with updated furniture.

Location was close to restaurants, The Peabody Hotel and Beale Street. Valet staff was exceptional: helpful, timely, professional and friendly. The attached lobby bar was nice. Wait staff was efficient. Large and updated lobby area.

The room was not to my liking for the price paid for the room. There was oddly only one nightstand the other had obviously been removed and not replaced. The carpet was really old. There were painted over water stains on the ceiling. Overall the room was poor at best and I would not recommend staying here. Hotel did not have enough safety. Lobby open to anyone to enter. Elevator was not keypass secured. Only one security guard was on duty.

I've stayed at this property a fews years back for work and decided to stay for personal stay. It was just ok. The bed was very very hard and was not comfortableat all. The AC woke me up all night as it sounded like it was about to fall out of the ceiling every time it shut off. The room was just ok but you could tell it had not been updated. The staff was nice and friendly as well as the valet service.

The pool wasn’t open and we wanted to swim.
