DoubleTree by Hilton Memphis Downtown

Shocked that this is a Doubletree. Stayed for work and came into my room exhausted. There was a wet dirty hand towel on the table. I was so tired I ignored it. The TV didn’t work. The channel would come on and it would lose signal within 5 minutes. I did mention it and got a new remote. No change. The room was very well used. Everything smelled musty, chipped paint, stained and damaged furniture. Bathroom was grimy and also just old and yucky. A few of my colleagues requested to move hotels but I was simply too tired. On the plus side, the staff were very nice. They saved this review from being one star. I wouldn’t suggest staying here until the hotel gets a heavy renovation.

No safe box in rooms. No mini fridge in room. With lots of street noise. Staff at front desk told me that some rooms have mini fridge just not mine.

The service was amazing. I valet parked and a guy named JD gave me the perfect assistance with food and the area. 5 star service!!!!

The staff was so kind and went out of their way to assist us.

There was a group that was out of control around 2-3 am and they were never asked by management to be quiet. They could hear them, it is very open and this guest was out of control.

Great location, things look a little worn out.

Most of the staff for it was so very rude! I don’t care if they let me stay here free, I would never stay in this hotel again!
