Clean, comfortable

What a nightmare, we arrived on a late flight (10:30 pm) waited at least a half hour for shuttle, typical for this hotel, shuttle was packed full but they squeezed my grandson and I in, others were turned away. Our luggage came out last, so we were at end of check-in line. I didn't remember I had Hilton Honors until later,  so a long wait in a long line, with only 2 clerks. We waited forever,  so tired, I'm a 70-year old custodial grandmother,  I have cancer and spinal fractures from osteoporosis l, the trip home is to see my oncologist and other doctors because I'm sick, and I had been traveling since very early morning with the grandson.I'm raising. Finally our turn, it's now after midnight,  the clerk that checked us in was very nice, no issues with him, he's black, really nice guy. He gave me a map to our room. I've stayed at this hotel many times,  I didn't look at the map which is really small and difficult to figure out.Anyway, I knew where to go,  the problem arose after pushing two huge bags, plus one heavy carry on and lugging my backpack across PLUSH carpeting (my main complaint about this hotel, so hard to push luggage cart or suitcases on the plush carpet most of the way to the rooms and there is no valet, It's diy). Anyway, we were in the 4th concourse or whatever it is called, all the way at the end of the corridor, from the room number I assumed 4th floor, when we reached the elevator, there's a sign on the elevator "Out of Service" I literally wanted to cry looking up at the stairs and back at our luggage. So,  we pushed everything back to the reception area, another shuttle has arrived, there are probably 20 people in line, still two clerks. I stood off to the side of the first clerk, waited for him to finish checking someone in and I told him about the elevator. This guy is slightly dark complected with facial hair.

Helen at the front desk is AMAZING. One of my best check in experiences I've ever had. And I travel ALOT. Lovely property. And all the staff our great!

Staff on reception were lovely. The room was perfectly clean albeit air freshener and/or shake&vac overused. Handy of course for the airport.

Just a bit old fashioned and too fragrant.

Got to the hotel after 11pm, had to wait in line 30minutes for the check-in. The room was not as clean as expected, there were spider webs on the ceiling.

The location was convenient. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean.

The towels smelled a bit sour.
