Holiday Inn Express - Indiana by IHG

When we checked in at 9pm the manager had to check and see if our room was even cleaned. Most check-ins are at 4pm not sure why he had to check not very good service.

Run down but clean. Security deposit that wasn’t refunded until requested. Had a few security issues like basement rooms and all vacant room doors propped open.

Very nice selection with hot offerings.

Please make decaff coffee available.

I didn’t know it was hot food; I would have eaten there. Next time!

Comfort stay!

Once again we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Indiana Pa as we did multiple times while visiting our daughter that goes to college at IUP. This time we stayed in room 315. It seems that this hotel is going down the wrong path to have guests to return for another stay. The rooms are not being cleaned as they once were with visible black mold on the shower ceiling and on the the shower wall opposite the glass door. The room had a smokey smell at it was listed as a non smoking and stains on the lounge chair. I hope that the property starts to have alittle more attention to detail because it means alot to people to stay at a well kept place. This was our eighth stay in a year and a half.

Beds were super comfortable and the black out blinds kept all the light out. Bathroom in the room was very tight, pool did not have towels stocked and room key didn’t work. We had to switch rooms. Breakfast selection was your average hotel breakfast. Overall was fine for the price
