Hyatt Regency Harare The Meikles

Food was terrible throughout Resturant management needs to be changed as soon as possible. I was very disappointed ☹️

Was given a room that had a dated look and feel. How ever the staff was excellent

Its a poorly maintained property with smelly bathrooms and worn out carpets. Overall, a pretentious place which does not offer value-for-money.

People were friendly

Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Good hotel and welcoming staff

Everything was fine at the hotel, clean and safe. lovely rooftop area.It was lovely, clean and had all the facilities we needed.

The hotel is not as 'glam' as you expect and most areas are rather dated and tatty (esp the room bathrooms). The room service menu is very limited and the eating areas are very old fashion. It's a great location, some lovely team (the barman up at the pool bar, and Emily in the spa is fab). But overall I was rather disappointed. Stay and see what you think, but the hotel needs to 'raise it's game' to keep people returning. Think it's riding off of an old reputation.

Variety and choice of food could improve

I liked the old world charm and stability of quality in spite of the overall difficult country conditions!
