Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana

Esequiel from Waves restaurant turned my trip around. I was really disappointments when I arrived and almost wanted to leave but Esiquel and Hermes provided me an experience that made my vacation everything I imagined. I can’t say enough about the 5 star service, care and attention they a provided. They save me as a customer and I will now come back to this respect because of them. Thank you for making my vacation amazing!

We had the most amazing time, and one of our favorite restaurants was Shutters! We went almost daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not only was the view spectacular, and the food superb, but the people were what made it special. Special shout out to: Dahiana, Nandia, and Bryan and Sauru We can’t wait to go back!

We just returned from an unforgettable week at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana with our kids, and it earns every one of these five stars. The food alone would bring us back. The variety is incredible — El Mercado, the main buffet, had so many stations and fresh options that even our pickiest eater was happy every meal, and the à la carte restaurants (the Italian trattoria and the Asian teppanyaki spot were our favorites) felt like a real night out. Grabbing a quick bite at Prontoz by the pool or a juice at the beachfront Chinola made the days effortless. Juanillo Beach is postcard-perfect — soft white sand and calm, turquoise water — and the infinity pools were spotless and beautifully laid out. But the real winner for the kids was Canapolis water park, with the lazy river and slides. They never wanted to leave. What truly set this place apart was the staff. Warm, attentive, and wonderful with our children — they remembered our names and went out of their way at every turn. Between the kids club, themed beach dinners, and nightly shows at the amphitheater, there was always something going on, so the kids were thrilled and we still got to relax. Five stars without hesitation. An easy recommendation for any family.

Beautiful resort with plenty of activities for all ages. The staff was fantastic in particular our butler Martin Jimenez who was attentive and always had a big smile on his face. The beach had some seaweed due to the time of year but they were actively working to clean it each day. Food on the Ziva side was all very good. We went to the Zilara side and ate at the French restaurant one night and it was my least favorite. I highly recommend for families!

Beautiful property and nice comfortable rooms. Food is just okay. The staff and service here has been exceptional! But- the beach is unusable due to the seaweed, bad smell, and bugs. We should have done more research about this location and time of year. Lesson learned! Don’t come here in the summer unless you want to spend your entire trip in the pool! We also have probably the worst location of rooms on the entire property. There should not be rooms located underneath a party or event space!! We have club level ocean front rooms that are directly under a wedding or party every single night. We did mention it to our butler and asked if it would be every night if we could move rooms. We were assured it was just a one night thing.. which was a complete lie. There has been some kind of party or wedding above our room every single night. I very disappointed in our stay and I will grantee you we will not be back!! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money here.

We had an amazing time. Room was beautiful, food and drinks were amazing, people very friendly. Entertainment was good, but I feel like after 10pm,except for the sports bar,there was really nothing going on on site for young people who maybe wanted to dance and socialize a little bit longer. Our butler Hernandez took very good care of us. Other than that,everything was perfect.

Our trip was very good with the only knock being the beach covered in seaweed. We know that is not the fault of the resort but others should be aware that during the summer, at least from our experience, the water is brown and like a seaweed soup. They attempt to clear the sand near the shore but even that is overwhelming. Outside of the seaweed situation, everything was wonderful. Our kids LOVED the kids club especially Daira, Araceli, Maria, Katherine, and Ambar. My daughter still talks about these amazing ladies every day! They kept them entertained and fed and really went the extra mile to make sure the trip was special for our kids! The kids club really made our trip. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with the kids club! The waterpark is great. Luis the lifeguard is amazing. He learned our kids names and always checked in with them to make sure they were having a great time at the waterpark. He was always so happy and just a joy to see each day at the waterpark. We really enjoyed our food as well. We had great meals at Chinola, Noodle and Thread, the buffet, Navigators (the Tropicool was a favorite drink) and we really enjoyed some of the themed food events outside. We liked the Greek and Mexican night (the passion fruit margarita was one of our best drinks). Our servers at these events were great. Our room was clean with the only issue being a bit of a mildew smell. We asked for a dehumidifier and that helped a little bit. Overall we would come back but definitely not in the summer as to avoid the seaweed!

We had an amazing stay at this resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, beautiful grounds, and outstanding level of service. The resort exceeded our expectations and provided excellent value for the price. A special thank you to Carlos Hernandez, our butler, who provided exceptional service and ensured every detail of our stay was taken care of. Rose, our housekeeper, was wonderful and always kept our room spotless while making sure it was stocked with treats and refreshments. At the pool, Daberlisa went above and beyond to keep our family refreshed, frequently bringing water and beverages for the kids and providing outstanding service with a friendly smile. The atmosphere throughout the resort was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. The lobby was elegant, inviting, and always immaculate. The hallways were quiet and well-maintained, and the breakfast and restaurant areas were comfortable, clean, and efficiently managed. Shared spaces were consistently pleasant and created a relaxing environment for guests to enjoy throughout the day. The entire staff—from the restaurants and bars to the lobby and housekeeping teams—was friendly, professional, and attentive. Every area of the resort, including the public restrooms, was consistently clean and maintained to the highest standards. What stood out most was the value. The combination of exceptional service, cleanliness, amenities, food, and overall guest experience made this resort well worth the cost. We truly felt that we received excellent value for our money and appreciated the attention to detail that made our family vacation so enjoyable. The outstanding hospitality and dedication of the staff made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Punta Cana and look forward to returning in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This resort is amazing. I have been to many all-inclusive resorts and this is one of my favorites. The food was amazing the staff was beyond attentive. Everyone at the resort treats you like royalty. 5 star hotel for sure!! The beach has a seaweed problem but this is nothing new with global warming and sargassum. I will say they manage it the best they can by cleaning and combing the beach on a regular basis.

Mr. Hernandez was an excellent butler. He was always communicating with us at all times and checking on us. Will definitely love to have him again.
