Beautiful location and luxurious hotel. Kids really enjoyed the waterpark!

Wilson, Chael, and Raibel were excellent! They were fun to be around and always made us laugh and enjoy our time ever more.

We just returned from a week at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, and once again, the experience was amazing. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer stunning views. Restaurants are excellent with great variety, and both the water park and Kids Club are fantastic, safe, and well organized. However, what truly makes this resort special is the staff. Their thoughtful, genuine service turns a great stay into an unforgettable one. We want to recognize the incredible people who made our trip so memorable: Pedro Hernandez & Sorangelys de la Cruz – Thank you for going above and beyond to make our son’s birthday so special. Pedro instantly connected with him, and together you made our stay truly unforgettable. Chef Sebastian – Your attention and care meant so much. Thank you for making our son’s favorite shrimp pasta and ensuring he had a memorable birthday dinner at Noodle & Thread (delicious food!). George @ El Mercado – This was our second visit, and once again, your recommendations, flexibility, and genuine care stood out. You make guests feel like family. Valentin (Bellboy) – From arrival to departure, your professionalism and warmth made a difference. Thank you for always checking in and guiding us when needed. Julissa @ The Club Pool – You truly elevated our cabana experience. Your attentiveness and friendliness made every day enjoyable and personalized. Abril, Jenifer, Waldy, Yulaiki, and Johana @ Republic Coffee – Our nightly ice cream visits became a highlight because of you. Thank you for your kindness and for making us feel at home. The staff is truly the heart and soul of this resort. They make every moment feel special and are the reason we will continue coming back. My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana the week of May 25, 2026. We had a wonderful time at this property. I have stayed at many resorts in Punta Cana and I must say this is one of the best. Check-in: We arrived around 1pm and our room wasn't ready yet. I did request an early check in prior to arrival but that did not happen. We were able to change and use the amenities right away after check-in which was great. Our room was not ready until after 4pm which was not ideal but that was the only issue our entire stay. Room: We had a Club Ocean View Double which was perfect for 2 adults and two children age 10 and 13. We did not feel overcrowded but did not spend much time in the room anyway. The balcony was very large and had enough seating for all which was a plus. Property/Service: This was a beautiful property and not very big at all so I felt very comfortable with my tween/teen moving about throughout the property. It did not take long to walk anywhere on the property including the waterpark which was just a short walk through the lobby towards the front and down the stairs. Pools/Beach: The pools were amazing. Plenty of lounge chairs throughout the day. Not too cold at all this time of year. We did not have trouble finding a seat at the regular side or the club pool. The beach was nice but the water was not. Very murky upon entering. They kept the sargassum cleaned up throughout the day but from time to time, there would be an odor that you could smell by the pool or walking through the hallway that smelled like rotten eggs. It did not last long, but it definitely was there each day (not sure if it was sargassum or something else). We only visited the beach area once. This is a con but the rest of the property, activities, amenities made up for this and I was aware going in that we would likely not spend much time at the beach so keep that in mind. We also did not see a lot of people spending time on the beach when we were there. Club Level: We definitely liked having the club level. I can understand why some people feel this is not worth it as there are not a lot of perks but for us, the access to the club lounge and bars for top shelf liquor was a must. The snacks and drinks at the club lounge were great (mini cakes, warm mini donuts). And the lounge made the best drinks on the property in my opinion. Food/Restaurants: We enjoyed most of what we ate at this hotel. I feel the food at the buffet is consistent with most other all inclusive hotels but maybe a step above. I definitely liked that they serve the food at the buffet as I typically do not like to eat a buffets which is why I stick to the cook to order stations. We mostly ate breakfast at the buffet and tried the lunch on our last day. Lunch - We mostly ordered from Prontoz or ate the poolside BBQ. Both were pretty good. I liked the pizza at Prontoz and the grilled meats at the BBQ were good. We did not get to try the toco station as it was listed on the app but was not offered during our stay. It would have been nice to switch it up a bit instead of the BBQ each day. We did not try any of the restaurants during lunch as we were enjoying out time out by the pool. Dinner - Tempest, we did not try the tappenyaki as it was an hour and a half wait so we tried the mongolian. This was our least favorite meal. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the best either. Noodle & Thread, this was one of our favorites. The food was very good. We enjoyed everything we had (short ribs, Shrimp Cannelloni, Cacio E Pepe and Shrimp Risotto) all very good. Navigator, this was our favorite! I don't understand why nobody talks about this restaurant. Everything we had was great. The restaurant was not crowded at all. We had the baja fish taco, calamari, churrasco steak (excellent), bocca chica style fish and fried shrimp from the kids menu. Best meal of the trip. Waves on the Zilara side, the two adults tried this place and it was OK. The short rib tacos were the best part of this meal. The ribeye steak was on the tough side for a ribeye. All in all, we enjoyed our meals/snacks and no one in our party got sick at all as some have reported. Staff/Service: The service at the property was A+++++. Every person we encountered was so pleasant. My family surprised me for my birthday and got some of the staff involved. Everyone was great and really made my day extra special. Special shout out to Amado, the entertainment supervisor, Deyvi and Edmanuel from the club pool bar, Lemuel, Erika and Nathaly from the club pool area, Isabelle from the concierge team who helped my family surprise me. There are so many to name and unfortunately I did not get everyone's name but every single person we encountered was awesome and went out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. Even the young lady at the gift shop was so helpful to me. I could go on and on... We definitely tipped during our stay but did not feel at all that the level of service we received was dependent upon it.

The resort itself is beautiful — the rooms are modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The beach and pools were stunning, always clean, and perfect for relaxing. One of the highlights was definitely the food; every restaurant had delicious options and great quality, which is rare for many all-inclusive resorts. What truly made this place special was the attention to detail and the relaxing luxury experience. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or just looking to unwind, this hotel delivers an unforgettable experience.

Everything was great, service was good, mostly every body was nice. Our butler was Mr.Hernandez, he took great care of us. The rooms were great. The whole atmosphere was very nice. The hotel isnt very far from the airport as well, great location honestly. The whole hotel had cleanliness. The noise level was great, the one thing I wish was better was stuff to do at night, everything close pretty early. Other than that, everything was great.

From our arrival to our farewell, which was, 'See you again in two weeks' this resort was the promise of paradise. The food, drinks, and entertainment all met the mark, but what truly stood out was the staff. They were everywhere, doing everything with a gesture of graceful respect in every interaction. Yes, the resort was packed, but we didn’t mind the wait because, in that atmosphere, even waiting was pleasurable. A quick heads-up for future guests: the airport lines were long (1 hour upon arrival and 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the gate to leave), so you should definitely plan to use the restroom before you get in line! Anyway, we will certainly be back... perhaps not in two weeks, but as soon as we can. We travel a lot, and we will definitely return. I specifically want to mention Maria A. (morning hostess at El Mercado and lunch hostess at the Navigator Grill). I’m in the 'people' business and know exactly what service feels, looks, and sounds like; she represented everything we hoped to experience at your resort. Congrats to the entire team at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Of course, there were so many others who we will remember, so we thank them all.

Very nice resort with excellent food, good drinks and decent entertainment. A bit of inconsistency between different bars and restaurants at times. Nice pool area as well. Not sure I would pay extra for ‘club level’ next time.

The property was so clean, the staff very friendly and happy to see you and help. The food was delicious. So peaceful and quiet.
