Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. The resort was beautiful, clean, and truly family friendly, with something for everyone to enjoy. We loved the all-inclusive experience, it made the trip feel easy and relaxing, with plenty of dining, drinks, and activities included. The beaches were nice but a lot of seaweed, and the entertainment throughout the resort added a lot of fun to our stay. It was also a huge plus being so close to the adults-only Hyatt Zilara resort, which gave the area a great mix of family energy and a more grown-up atmosphere nearby. Overall, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana was a fantastic choice for a family vacation. Between the beach, entertainment, all-inclusive convenience, and beautiful setting, we would definitely recommend it. Be sure to seek our Gerami and Jorge S at the pools for the best service.

Our family of four with boys ages 12 and 10 had visited Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana in Punta Cana and could not say enough about this amazing resort. Upon arrival, being greeted with cold towel service as we waited to be checked as well as the check in process went smooth as anything. The resorts cleanliness was beyond superior as were the rooms as well. The rooms were spacious for all four of us with proper sleeping arrangements. The staff at the resort was beyond expectations. From the people at the coffee bar in the morning to the waiting staff at all the restaurant's always made sure things were good at your table and always got what you needed when asked. GEREMY was our main server for a good part of the week by the pool and cannot say enough about his kindness and how promptly he got our drink and always with a smile. Many of the times brought extra drinks to make sure we were having the time of ur life so thank you to him for that. We can also not say enough about their entertainment team. CHAEL in particular changed our kids vacation the second they met. He included them in everything there was to do like they were little brothers to him. From beach volleyball , shuffleboard, pool games and trivia while being the DJ by the pool as well to last but not least our boys favorite BASKETBALL. Once he pulled them into that it was then the best vacation of their life and now it created a family type bond between CHAEL and our two boys, so we thank him for everything he had to offer and did for our children during our stay because it made it that much more special. The resort was just lovely, clean and well maintained. The service was great throughout the resort. We had a swim up room, and that was a great option for some relaxing time in the morning and evening. The food was excellent throughout the resort, with options for all palates. We were there with our young grandson, and the water park area was a huge hit for all of us, with the lazy river, the water slides, and the kids area. A great vacation destination!

I am not used to writing reviews on trips that I take but this resort treated us so well that I had to speak out about it. Was everything 100% perfect, no, but the good so outweighed any minor frustrations. The first thing I noticed were the staff. Every employee you ran into, even in passing, pleasantly greeted you. The level of customer service was so above par. We had our two kids, ages 8 and 10 with us. We wanted to check out the Zilara (adults only resort) so we dropped our kids off at the kids club so that we could walk around. When we got back a short time later to grab them they begged us not to leave. We were not expecting that because our son flat refused to stay at the kids club at the last resort we stayed at. The kids met the most amazing young lady who was working at the kids club. Daria was her name and my two children fell in love with her over the next few days. The care and attention that Daria and the other young ladies put into caring for our kids went way above and beyond what they had to do. My son celebrated his 9th birthday while we were there and Daria was nice enough that she made him a birthday card and got him a gift. It really made him feel special on his day. The ability to have the comfort knowing the kids were taken care of allowed us to go over to the Zilara and enjoy some kid free pool time and an amazing dinner. That was a huge benefit for us having both the Ziva and Zilara connected and having access to both. This resort was top notch and I highly recommend it to anyone with kids. Or if you are going with a group of people and some of them do not have kids. We made so many great memories here and I cannot wait to go back.

This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. Every single person that works here is so smiley, kind, funny, caring, appreciative, and happy. Alfred and Ryder (I hope I got their names right) from the entertainment team were amazing. They made sure to learn everyone’s names during activities and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having fun.

Cafe Repulic was awesome there hospitality is first class. Yessica the manager was very accommodating and pleasant.

Our family had an amazing stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and honestly exceeded our expectations for an all inclusive resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel taken care of. Huge shoutout to Axiel at the front desk for going above and beyond and making everything smooth from check in to departure. The service throughout the entire resort was consistently excellent. Staff members were gracious, attentive, and always around if you needed anything. The property itself is not overwhelmingly large, which we actually loved because everything was spotless, easy to navigate, and extremely well maintained. Housekeeping was also outstanding. Rooms were cleaned daily, and then staff would come back again at night to restock towels, drinks, and anything else needed. Our room was also very spacious for a family of four. We stayed in a room with two queen beds with our 5 and 2 year old, and it never felt cramped. The balcony was a really good size as well. We paid extra for the upgraded view and it absolutely did not disappoint. A lot of times paying extra for a “view” at resorts feels like a rip off, but this one was 100% worth it. The food was one of the biggest surprises of the trip. Unlike many all inclusive resorts, the quality here was genuinely very good. There are five restaurants on the property and every meal we had was enjoyable. The resort is also connected to the adults only side, which gives you even more restaurant and bar options, although we did not get to explore much of it because we were with the kids. Even the in room service was impressive. The menu is smaller, but that actually worked in its favor because everything tasted fresh and well made. They would even bring milk and cereal for the kids on demand, and room service was always extremely fast. The drinks were also surprisingly good and not overly watered down like many resorts. They definitely got the job done, especially the cocktails from the cocktail bar menu. The cocktail bar itself was excellent, and the sports bar was a great spot to watch the NBA Conference Finals at night. Pool and beach service were top tier. There were servers everywhere checking if guests needed anything. Lunch by the pool every day was one of the highlights of the trip with fresh coconuts, grilled food, burgers, and al pastor tacos. They changed the menu daily, which kept things fresh even during our Sunday through Thursday stay. The beach did have a decent amount of seaweed during our visit, which may just be the time of year in May, but the resort staff constantly worked to clean and manage it, so it never became a major issue for us. For families with kids, this resort is unbelievable. There were nonstop activities throughout the day including slime making, coconut painting, coloring, games, and an awesome water park. They also have a dedicated indoor kids playroom, which was a really nice touch. Our boys had an amazing time the entire trip. The gym facility was also impeccable. I unfortunately did not get a chance to use it, but it looked incredible. One of the coolest parts of the trip was doing our annual family photos at the resort. We paid $325 for 20 edited photos, which is significantly cheaper than back home in the U.S., and the quality was honestly incredible. Hector absolutely crushed it. Our kids were not exactly cooperating at first, but he made the session fun and captured so many candid beach shots that came out amazing. If you are traveling to Punta Cana with kids, I highly recommend this resort. Between the service, cleanliness, food, family activities, and overall experience, it was absolutely worth it.

My experience at the Hyatt Ziva was absolutely incredible from start to finish. As someone with very severe food allergies, traveling can often be stressful, but this resort completely exceeded my expectations. Juan and Sebastian, the head chefs, went above and beyond to ensure my safety and comfort throughout the entire trip. They took the time to understand my allergies in detail and personally prepared all of my meals in a separate area, ensuring there was no risk of cross-contamination. Every dish was not only safe for me to eat, but also delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made such a difference in my experience. What stood out most was their kindness and consistency, they checked in with me regularly and made sure I always had safe, enjoyable options at every meal. It allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my vacation without constantly worrying about food, which is something I don’t often get to do. Because of the exceptional service, especially from Juan and Sebastian, I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone, particularly those with food allergies. They made me feel completely safe, valued, and cared for, and I am so grateful for the experience.
