Lovely, comfortable and well equipped house. Local facilities nearby and within easy walking distance to York centre. An excellent place for our city visit.

Location was excellent, communication with host fabulous. Very clean, and decorated classic and perfect.

Two bedrooms upstairs mattress alittle uncomfortable.

Brilliant location and perfect host

The only downside was the heating. It was a cold property which in cold York months needs the heating on for much of the day. That said, the host was very helpful and always put on the heating /put it up etc as soon as we asked.

The property was in a great location just outside the city walls. It was clean and well presented and had everything required for a comfortable stay

There was nothing not to like

We loved our stay at Spencer House. The hosts were super helpful and I loved that they came to the house when we arrived to make sure everything was ok (I thought that was really nice). The house is great, location is perfect. We'll be booking with this host again when we visit York next.
