Spencer House

Very clean, great location with lots of little independent shops and cafes nearby. It’s a short 15 minutes walk into the centre of York and rooms are a good size.

Lovely property in a great location. Facilities good.

The property is really cold, takes forever to heat up and cools down very quickly when heating is timed to go off. When we arrived the property was really cold and needed to keep our coats on to stay warm. We used the instructions for adjusting the temp, but due to the age of the property it took forever to warm up. We could have contacted the host about this, but made do with the blankets provided. Walking into a warm property would have been much more welcoming on the arrival day.
