The Sherwood Palm Hotel, Torquay Beach

Hotel could do with an update but considering the very good pricing it does the job. Free car parking and an easy short walk to the sea front.

Basic hotel, but near the beach

Blood stains on walls no tv no hot water

Had the best stay here with my daughter. The owners are such a lovely couple so welcoming and friendly. My daughter always passed by for a chat. Located right near the beach and short walk into town. Free parking. Bed was the comfiest ive slept in. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to the lovely couple for making mine and my daughters stay here a real memory to treasure. If we go this way again we will definately be staying here again. Thank you again

excellent location staff very friendly and try their best, good value for money

The locacion of the hotel is great, also lady who is the the owner is nice. but if something is wrong, for example, a broken TV or a leaking toilet, there is no chance that someone will fix it. there is only deception of the customer and no one will fix anything anyway. bathroom dirty and covered with mould, rooms dusty. They don't take big money but dirt is unacceptable.this hotel needs just clean up and hire more staff.

Wasn’t a pleasant stay at all! Not clean at all. Dirty cups to make cuppa. Asked for forks to eat some food and they given us dirty forks from behind a bar that looks like was closed down for some time. Wouldn’t let my dog in there! Avoid at all costs! Ceilings have all stains on them.

This property is closed. Don't book because you won't be able to get in. When I got there, two other guys were furiously trying to get access because they hadn't been able to check in the previous day and had spent the day knocking in the door trying to work out how to get their money back. Expedia organised me alternative accommodation but what a hassle!

We wasn’t expecting anything other than a clean room with basic facilities for the price we paid. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, the room was absolutely vile, quite clearly hadn’t had a good clean in months. The bed which my daughter was using you would have thought it was an air bed the way the springs collapsed when sat on. The property inside and out severely neglected. Initially booked for 2 nights but only stayed one.
