SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York JFK Airport/Jamaica

Our flight got canceled and we had to stay overnight. This hotel had a room available so we picked it as it was close to the airport. Rooms were very clean, nothing fancy. But the staff went over and above to help us out- gave us an extension on checkout, arranged a shuttle back to the airport- this was much appreciated given how stressed we were with the flight delays.

The rooms were great, clean and roomy. The staff could not tell us places to eat outside of the 3 gas food restaurants on the corners. Could not tell us how to get to the subway to get to the zoo and what directions.

New, clean, quiet — I spent more than I wanted on this hotel but I thought it was a relatively good value for a very nice room. I only wish I had done a little research beforehand on other parking options (they charge $40 for overnight). Overall, really nice option.

Customer service was horrible. Reception is I almost checked out on my 2nd day after receptionist guy with Glasses was nasty to me... i will never step foot in that hotel again because of him.. beautiful place tho but its sad that customer services is poor.

The area isn't great but there are plenty of food options

Cancelled reservation was notified by Dana at the desk after multiple phone calls to confirm a midnight checkIN time and shuttle access. Welcome to the Springhill Marriott JFK Jamaica Queens NYC we were left with no other option than another car ride to a 24hr diner until daylight with our luggage.

An airline delayed my flight and the hotel management wouldn’t refund any money back. Already filed a report with the BBB to dispute the case as well since the managers here are unprofessional.

Our flights we delayed and by the time we could check in our room was not available and show as a no show. We were not able to stay at your hotel. Please see that we were not billed for the room.
