Old tired property

This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, dish cloths, toilet paper, bathroom hand towels and cooking utensils. Some weren't supplied, some ran out quickly (like, within 24 hours). We also had to vacuum up food on arrival and clean the dishwasher of gunk. A QR code is supposed to provide access to a manual for the stay, however, the link wasn't working. We told them and by the last day of our trip, the link still wasn't working - a sign that they did not really care. Dogs were on the property (not sure whose) and they were not on leashes or kept under control. They barked at the cows and at us when we were trying to play outside and tried to take food off our table, so it wasn't really enjoyable to go outside. No aircon inside (it does have heating options). Overall, very disappointing.

The location was amazing and very secluded. The animals being right near the cottage was so cool and the dogs were so cute and friendly, always wanting pats. Inside the cottage was so warm and cosy and it was nice to get away from the busy city life.

The location of the cottage is in the middle of the farm place and forest. 20 minutes driving distance to Apollo bay. The vibe of the cottage gives us a feeling of inviting and peaceful, especially the drawings and photos hung on the wall. You will find a range of board games and books in the cottage too. The fire place is amazing. I like the process of lighting up a fire and get warm from it. Lots of love to Luca and Lanto too, they are so special, heartwarming and make our stay even more memorable. It was nice meeting all of you and thanks again for all the beautiful places you shared with us! All the best!

The place was absolutely amazing. Nice and secluded away from the fast pace of life. Has its own waterfall and walking tracks.

loved the location and the wilderness

Didn't like that we had to hold our dog on leash outdoors. There should have at least been an enclosure around the cottage with a gate to leave the dog off leash.

It's a cozy cottage. It 's really a wonderful place to start your explore journey. Will come again.
