The Source, Otways

Excellent view. Close to the forrest and falls. Quiet and not far from Apollo Bay. The room is spacious, it’s warm at night with the electric heater and fire. We found everything we needed, and all in good condition. The landlord is very warm and welcoming. Great experience.

Great location, nice hosts

No oven, not enough heating set up for the bedrooms and couldn’t leave our dog off leash coz of the chickens and couldn’t do the nature walks without waterproof shoes

The home itself was so lovely, warm and homely! Vita, one of the hosts, had made the stay as simple as possible, setting up the fireplace and everything else we needed within the home! I wish we had more time here since there's lots to explore around the property! A breath of fresh air from the city, absolutely loved this place! Would be more than happy to make the trip to stay again!

The location is exceptional, the cottage is very comfortable, with the fireplace for winter , fantastic.

A lovely cottage in Otways, a beautiful rainforest. It was easy to do self check-in and the cottage was well equipped and was super cosy with a firewood heater. It was very clean and had a nice view. It had quiet surroundings, and you hear nothing except for nature. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do the trails nearby, otherwise we would definitely have visited. The strength of the shower is very good btw, and they had quite a few brochures for attractions nearby which was very useful.

The cottage didn't have wifi, which didn't bother us, but good to know. Other than that we were sorry to leave our dirty dishes, because it felt strange to wash them in the bathroom sink as there is no kitchen. All in all just minor points.

The Source is a brilliant farm in the otways. The facilities are starting to feel a little tired, which is take nothing away from the brilliance of the location and ambience.

The carpets in the cottage are in need of upgrade. The price is high compared to others in the locale. The decorations are unique and brilliant but let down by ikea furnishings! While it was clear on the booking, the lack of kitchen (or even just a sink) is a mystery! It would so make it perfect!
