"Stunning Otway retreat"

Lovely farm stay with stunning private tracks down to the rainforest with waterfalls. Very clean and comfortable cabin. Very peaceful.

A kitchenette would have been nice. Everything worked fine, but I personally don’t like washing dishes in a bathroom vanity.

"Beautiful place to stay in the midst of it all"

It is a beautiful little place to stay, I loved waking up to see the sunrise, cows and geese awaiting. Magnificent! They have board games to play and it was just cute! Then later on seeing peacocks and chickens! I would 100% come back here. Oh and fresh flowers were a really beautiful touch! If you need some kind of getaway I think this is the place to go, once you get down to the waterfall get off the platform and make your way to the waterfall just for best site of it

It would be nice to have some signage for the tracks just because we didn't know where to go so we spent most of the time going back up hills to find it so we were too wrecked to go back and try and see glow worms. Just an idea :) there was a stove top thing but no pan. We could have asked the hosts for either of those things :) so not really a problem

"Amazing property, but accommodation has much room for improvement."

The location was fantastic, the private walks were wonderful, and the glow worms were a sight to behold.

Lack of attention to detail in the accommodation - we were not provided with hand soap, bin bags, or any kitchen cleaning cloths. We arrived to find dirty sheets from the previous guests had been left on the couch. The only cookware provided (two pans) were burnt to the point of being unusable. Blown/missing lights in the bathroom and lounge room. No kitchen sink meaning that dishes had to be cleaned in the bathroom basin (next to the toilet). There was evidence of animal faeces on the plywood wall that appeared to block the remainder of the kitchen.

Location & cottage was exactly as described: offgrid, peaceful & tranquil. Small holding farm with geese, goats, peacocks & 8 new born piglets on our arrival day.
