Decent option for mid-budget . We liked the central location and parking. Room was really big (ground floor) but a bit soulless in decoration, the courtyard is pretty and a nice place to sit but wouldn’t use the pool as really didn’t look clean. Staff were friendly

I spent 1 night in early October 2023 at the Hotel Fundador. It was excellent on all accounts. Large clean room with strong air conditioning, courteous knowledgeable staff, tasteful local decor and a very reasonable price. The car parking was also excellent and it was easy walking distance to the central square. If I have a complaint it is that I couldn't find any way to get a reservation directly from the hotel online. I prefer not to use the discount hotel resellers. Eventually I gave up on the online search and called the phone number on their Facebook page. They quoted me a price (in English) similar to the resellers and held it for my arrival with no deposit.

Nice colonial style hotel. Swimming pool is really small. Our room 2 adults 2 teenagers was sizable. No breakfast but there are some nice people places around. Parking is a big plus and location is good. Price reasonable. Staff is friendly and the hotel is spotless clean.

Great hotel to stay in Valladolid!

Amazing multi lingual staff greeted us with a smile every time we sauntered by. The room was large and the AC and fan kept it nice and cool. Water pressure and temp could be better, but we've learned in Mexico that is often hard to come by. Several good restaurants in the area, overall it was a great place. We stayed on the first floor right next to the pool and pool area bathrooms, but still very quiet as our room (12) did not border the road. Would definitely stay here again.

The check in was easy and fast, staff very friendly. The hotel better in person than the pictures. Room spacious and clean. The only down point our room was facing the street and for noisy early in the morning.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great hotel for the price. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Love how close it is to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
