Very comfortable rooms with wonderful views. Good sports facilities and lovely staff. The food was outstanding.

The swimming pool was small, not really big enough to swim lengths. Location extremely remote

The staff were great especially Imad on the front desk. My family was impressed by the facilities -the gym and yoga rooms are exceptional and spacious. The chalets were very well designed, comfortable and well equipped. The treatments on offer were good too. I almost forgot - the food was exceptional!!

The upper twin room on the chalet needs an AC. It did have a floor fan but it was a little too hot at night and just needs that extra bit of coolness.

The location, the facilities, the cleanliness

No privacy for a family with the lack of doors to bedrooms. There should be 2 bathrooms for a 2 bed chalet - most families who are able to afford this property will have more luxury in their own home. For example, in our home, a family of 6 people, we have 3 bathrooms. We are not used to 4 people sharing one bathroom. Also, the property charged us before our arrival. This is not in line with other reservations made on Bookings.com. We had secured the booking with a card with which we didn’t intend to pay - we had 8-9 such bookings across Sri Lanka and had no such problem elsewhere. We wanted to pay from a local bank account to use local currency we had, but even before we arrived, the hotel charged the card on the reservation, incurring us an unnecessary £25 in bank charges. This should have been refunded to us, and we have been chasing the property for this, but no response. Very disappointing. Has left us with a bad feeling for a stay that was otherwise flawless.

- le Resort est à mon sens trop loin d’Ella rendant très difficile de profiter d’Ella le soir - les prix exorbitants (pour ne pas dire absolument scandaleux du restaurant). Un café latte à 9USD, un steak à 60USD, tout est horriblement cher et cela n’est absolument pas justifié. Cela nous a laissé un goût amer car on a le sentiment que l’hôtel profite du fait qu’il n’y ait aucune alternative de restauration pour imposer des prix aussi prohibitifs. C’est vraiment très dommage je trouve - la piscine est très petite pour un resort axé sur le sport et le bien-être. C’est vraiment dommage.
