Beautiful hotel in lovely village

Shower had no power

The room was too hot. Didn’t get any sleep Not hotel’s fault

Lovely room, clean and comfortable

Lovely location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a great selection and well worth it. We seen two weddings take place while we stayed in the hotel and the staff managed regular customers and wedding guests really well.

Our allocated Room 323 was clean and comfortable - but right outside the window was a security light on a pir which lit up the whole room when it went off continuously during the night. The window could do with a black out blind as the curtains weren’t much help in keeping out the light. Such as shame as this disturbed our sleep and made our stay a little frustrating.

Friendly staff, nice location, nice breakfast, doggy treat box but paid £15 for it

Very tired decor in room, Luke warm shower with little pressure, incredibly hot with poor ventilation in the room and hot corridors, placed in a ground floor room so having windows open all the time meant we heard people walking past at all hours, small lake in the grounds had a strong smell of sulphur? Very unusual

Lovely hotel, good location and nice food.

Great location for stop over during a long journey. Play area for youngsters and a small but pleasant garden to stretch legs. Very good value and clean. We had an issue with our booking but the staff member consulted his manager, got it sorted out efficiently and made amends.

Such a lovely peaceful place, in beautiful surroundings.. At breakfast I asked for vegetarian sausages but they didn’t have any, Tina who served me arranged for someone to go out and get some then 15 mins later they were there on my plate…. Thankyou so much Tina for doing that. The rooms were first class, will definitely go back Mike
