Only stayed the one night but it was everything we needed , the beds was comfy and large which I liked and the dogs was well cared for with a dog pack in the room . Breakfast in the morning was nice too . Would definitely stay again if I’m going that way again

The woman I talked to before our stay confused me on what the facilities was with the rooms but apart from that nothing

"A Gem of a hotel"

The welcome we received from Selvehi(apologies for incorrect spelling) on reception was second to none. She was so welcoming and provided all the details we needed for our stay. Then there was Luke on the bar. He greeted us like we were old friends and provided sound advice. This is why the staff deserve a 10 out of 10. The hotel and grounds were clean and lovely. We had a garden view room which was clean, spacious with all the things you expect in a room. The complimentary toiletries and drinks were Devine. The food and service was good but not exceptional this is where my mark down comes in. My partner had a chicken Caesar salad for lunch which was excellent, and Hunters chicken for dinner which was good. I had some chicken wings for lunch which was ok but more seasoning required and burger and chips for dinner which again was good just maybe some cooked onions would have been nice. The menu for me was a little limited as I wouldn’t normally have a burger and it would have been nice to have a little more choice. Overall service and staff were excellent and we would definitely return and recommend Bowden Hall to anyone. Feedback- It would have been nice to have grounds to walk around for those that like a long walk and more menu choice

Great Breakfasts! Lovely airy spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. Superb helpful staff especially breakfast ladies at breakfast reception area !
