Homewood Suites Harrisburg-West Hershey Area

We were in town for a funeral nearby and Homewood suites was a perfect gathering place for our extended family to gather pre and post funeral. Kirsten at the desk helped make our stay easy and answered every question even down to helping out with directions to the cemetary and finding a place for all of us to gather together as a family to reminisce about our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Thank you ! You helped make a difficult weekend a bit easier :)

Was a great experience… many options at breakfast bar. Brandon the hotel receptionist was amazing and always helpful and went out of his way to accommodate our group. The only cons about our stay were the housekeeping is not everyday and the night shift receptionist Taylor was rude and not welcoming to the point that in February he put the air conditioning and fan on in lobby to freeze us out so we would not stay in that area.

We have stayed here multiple times visiting family. And caring for aging parents. Our service has always been excellent. The hotel is clean and neat. Service is amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Beds are super comfortable. Terry and particular who checked us in provided excellent service to make sure that our needs were met for the type of room that we had. Definitely stay here again. Location is very convenient to Harrisburg, turnpike, route 15 and lots of surrounding restaurants, etc.

I stayed here with my husband a few days ago and the check in process went smoothly. Location was great. There was a sweet lady Addison at the front desk who gave my family and I information about the area and made the process quick and easy. The room was VERY clean during our stay and a lovely housekeeper Genoah that cleaned our room and engaged in conversation with me. She made me laugh and did a WONDERFUL job in our room. She was so sweet. We will 100% come back. Great staff and wonderful service. Very professional. It felt like my home away from home. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. Our stay went to quick. lol. Thank you!

Rooms were clean and stocked, except the shampoo. We stayed 2 nights and ran out of shampoo after the first morning. Breakfast was ok, it was better last year. Kirsten was amazing when we checked in. Very friendly and cheerful at 11pm. I would recommend this to a friend

The room was clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The staff was excellent, and there was a great variety of breakfast options. It was a wonderful stay!

The room was a little underwhelming. The tub and sink would back up. It was roomy though. Kirsten at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to get me things I needed. Other front desk staff wasn’t doing their job as well as Kirsten. The gym was a bit rough and both treadmills were out of order so that was disappointing. The breakfast was just ok.

So this is my first cross-country trip to the East Coast & first time visiting the Pennsylvania area. While it has been an absolute culture shock I can certainly say that the staff here at the Homewood Suites have made my first time here a very comfortable experience! Each member of the staff from the front desk all the way to housekeeping have been very friendly, welcoming, and helpful in assisting us navigate the area. I would certainly like to give kudos to Avacyn at the front desk for her help in recommending local eateries, things to do around the area, and just making my stay here go very smoothly! This is actually my first long term stay at a hotel for work and it has gone so very well thanks to everyone here at the hotel. But again, a huge thanks to Avacyn for providing her expertise in finding different places to eat at while I'm visiting for the next 21 days. I definitely needed those recommendations!
