Was not told when I checked in about only getting the room cleaned every other day during my stay. Called for maintenance the day after I arrived to have someone come and check the slow drain in the bathtub plus a clicking coming from the air conditioner vent in the kitchen. No one ever came. Certainly not the usual I experience during a Hilton stay. Will not stay there again!

"Excellent Customer Service - Homewood Suites By Hilton Harrisburg-west Hershey Area"

My family and I checked into this hotel on Friday for a Soccer Tournament in the area that weekend. On Saturday, my wife noticed a slow leak in the kitchen and she placed a pot under it. She told someone at the front desk and they advised that someone would look at it the next day, as the person who would normally do so was gone for the day. I came back to the room later and noticed a much faster leak in the dining area. This one seemed like it may be problematic. By this time Gabbie was on duty at the front desk. I explained the situation to her. She told me to hold on for a moment, while she made a phone call. Byron came down and took a look at the room. He then went to the room above ours which was unoccupied at the time and stated the carpet was soaked. He attempted to turn off the water to the room, but was unable to locate the particular valve (as I don't believe this was his regular area of expertise). Byron then came up with the idea to wet vac the room above us. The leak slowed down, and then stopped. Problem solved. Our stay overall was a great one and it was made even better by these two quick thinking, fast acting individuals to resolve the issue. They even comped our Saturday evening's stay as a courtesy for the inconvenience. I could not be more satisfied with their actions, generosity and our stay. If I'm in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

We couldn’t get the climate in our room cooler than 76°. The front desk wasn’t very helpful when we asked for a different room. We eventually got the new room, but it came with attitude and a sense that it was somehow our fault that we wanted a new room.
