Best Western Plus Gilbert/Mesa

There is a Native New York next to the hotel so its nice to have dinner and walk back to room

Hotel is run down and the tub doesn't drain. Staff were friendly, but hotel is in need of upkeep.

The room I was in was very nice, the bathroom not so nice, the door was falling off the hinges, the soap shelve in bathtub was missing but the rusting bracket left, the air vent was held on with one loose screw, holes in wall were puttied not painted, the ceiling showed signs on leakage from above. There was only one elevator for the entire four floor with with up and down incadors missing.

the sign in was easy and the lady at the desk on 10/25 and 10/26/2021 was very friendly and accommodating to us. our room was nice except for a broken sofa and missing desk chair. the bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, air control good. breakfast was good and staff very kind.

The staff was fantastic. They responded to all questions & helped as needed.

The outside looks ok but the rooms are dirty . The carpet is filthy. The gym equipment didn’t work, the pool was ok but the jacuzzi looked like it had blue food coloring. Best part was the ladies helping with the breakfast. Not worth the price.

I have stayed here many times and never had an issue. This weekend, We had to change rooms as the room was not cleaned. upon moving to the second room. We found that the tub was clogged so we were not able to shower the night we got in. I have added some photos of the problem. needless to say, the tub was not clean in this room either. I reported it to the front desk and they said they would take care of it. we left for the day. When we got back, the clog was fixed, but they did not clean the tub nor did housekeeping come in to clean the room or leave us clean towels. I had go back down the front desk to let them know. They did give us clean towels but not housekeeping. I was greatly disappointed at the stay for the first time at this hotel.

We used the stairs to get to our room, each floor had several bags of trash which were never removed and accumulated the two days we were there. The hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months. Our bathroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned, there was hair all over and bathtub was stained. The blankets were stained and one of the pillow cases was ripped. Breakfast was disgusting and we ended up just eating out. TV remote wouldn’t work so we had to unplug the TV to turn it off. Only good thing about the hotel was it was quite.
