I like the pool, sauna, and outdoor hot tub.

The bed, I would rate 6/10. The style of the rooms could probably use an update.

Staff was amazing. Sauna was a nice surprise. Restaurant was very good.

I do not recommend this hotel to literally anyone and I never will again. I have made sure to let as many people know as possible about the absolutely horrendous experience my partner, my family and I had to deal with when we decided to book a staycation for NYE at this hotel. I have stayed at countless hotels and never have I had such a horrible horrible experience as I did at this hotel. I am absoIutely appalled at the service and unprofessionalism of this hotel. When we first arrived we were told all the facilites were down, which was the entire reason we booked to stay there. So we already started off on the wrong foot as a simple phone call or message would of been extremely appreciated seeing as the staff knew of this issue for a while. At this point I wish we would of just cancelled and forgot the whole thing because after this fiasco things just plummeted into the ground. We decided to move our booking to the weekend instead as we were told the facilities would be working again. (Only half were working, the indoor hottub is still broken.) Upon arriving on the weekend we had multiple problems trying to check in as the previous staff had not communicated anything to eachother about our booking being moved or our rooms being swapped. The man checking us in was rude, argumentative and very unwilling to help. Nothing like the canadian hospitality offered at other hotels. The staff do not communicate with eachother AT ALL and will do anything to pass the blame onto the next person. The day manager Nicole can not take accountability and will try to brush you off, passing blame onto the next manager. They will make you want to pull your hair out from running in circles. The morning after our first night, we had 3 different staff members bother us about our room reservation before even looking at their own records. My partner and I had a Jacuzzi room and had JUST finished in the jacuzzi when the staff BARGED into our room (that was PREPAID mind you) telling us we were not allowed to be there as we did not have a reservation with them and that the rooms had been checked out of. All I could think about was thank god we were out of the jacuzzi and atleast had our robes on. The embarrassment enough of having a grown man standing in the middle of the room barrading me while I'm standing in a robe was the cherry on top for how horrible this stay was. I am telling you it was problem after problem after problem. After dragging us down to the front desk the staff tried to pass the problem onto all the other staff and kept us running in circles until they finally realized,THEY WERE LOOKING AT THE WRONG BOOKING. The entire situation could of been avoided if the hotel staff would of communicated with eachother OR ATLEAST phoned the room before barging in????? We ended up leaving early as we felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable, the staff basically ran us out of the building just to turn around and realize it was all their own mistake of pure negligence. Do you not think you would be 100% sure you had the correct room and booking before barging in basically chasing us out??? After leaving my partner contacted the police to make them aware of the kind of business this hotel is running. You have no privacy here and the staff just simply do not care about you or the comfort of your stay. I was told I would be refunded by the hotel. This was on saturday and I have yet to receive my refund. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. There are so many other beautiful hotels in the sault, the water tower has become a glorified motel.

This hotel has not seen significant upgrades or maintenance for some time, which is quite evident. The hot tub is rarely operational and has been closed on many occasions, and the building itself shows signs of aging with rusty pipes and unkept wooden interior. The cleanliness of the rooms has also declined compared to previous visits. I'm not sure if the hotel has a different owner now, but as it stands, it isn’t meeting the standards it once did. There are still friendly staff members, although I did observe a floor manager in the lobby who appeared to be very intent on identifying issues with guests, which was a bit uncomfortable. Our initial room had a strong odor, and for the second, we were given a room that smelled like smoke—all on the first floor. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to others, and I do not plan to stay here again in the future.

Noise during the entire night is problematic in the winter time.

We did not have any heat in our room! We booked a suite with two bedrooms we were supposed to have a hot tub in the room which we did not have.. the room was in disrepair the closet door handle was broken. The carpets were old and stained out in the hallway, and everything was old and outdated in the room

Love using the pools and hotter and sauna. Very clean, rooms are nice and beds are comfy. Enjoyed free breakfast with our plan.

The manager assisted me to get back on the BW site for my reservation which got me a better rate. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They found us a second fire log so we could have a second fire. The turkey dinner was excellent as always and the restaurant staff were friendly and gave amazing service. Our morning waitress recognized us from previous stays
