- for the price I paid I expected more amenities - parking situation was a little ridiculous. Only valet! - no breakfast in hotel other than room service food which was waaaay OVERPRICED and not worth it. A small bowl of berries was $15. Food is not a 5 star hotel quality. I highly suggest you to get food from surrounding restaurants rather than their food. Not good at all and needed a major upgrade or finding a new chef.

The Camby has earned all of its five-star reviews. The Camby has "the whole package:" a good location, pleasant atmosphere, recent renovation, and exceptional staff. To me, the Camby seems like a perfect choice for a meeting, visiting friends or relatives, or a "jumping off point" for visiting Arizona. Alysson, the front desk manager provided almost instantaneous help when I reached out to her before my visit, and she greeted me with warmth upon my arrival. Indeed, all the other staff (valet, Cartel coffee, and front desk) were all kind and welcoming. The room itself was ideal: understated, clean, and fantastically quiet. Every bit of the room was in good condition and spotless. It was very much a European style room (tasteful and understated) but "American" in terms of its size. The location is perfect, as it is close to both downtown, Scottsdale, and a quick trip to the airport. The Camby is not "glitzy;" it's modern and tasteful. And that's everything I could want. The only downsides I found were petty and easy to fix. There was bizarre, blaring music in the lifts and lbby. It seemed like a mismatch for such a classy property. The lifts also had strange, bright, flashy ads that seemed in remarkable contrast to the rest of the property. Also, the clocks in the lift were an hour off (that will give you a slight heart attack if you have a meeting or a flight to catch.) I cannot wait to come back. It was an unquestionably pleasant stay.

The accommodations were different than I booked. I booked a king bed with a sofa bed. When I arrived they said that they do not have sofa beds. They were full and did not have anymore double queens. There is only vallet parking which is an additional $40 per night. There was no self parking option. The 30 minute toast with champagne and snacks ran out of the snack 22 minutes in and they did not replenish.

Newly renovated- gone is the trying hard to be cutting edge back to classic decor (i.e., more like when it was the Ritz). Room moderate room to room noise, from street and from corridor. Room has iron & board, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion, hair dryer, lighted makeup mirror, room safe, in-room coffee maker. In room recycle bin. Robes. Shower only - no tub. Valet only parking. Small pool. Gym treadmills, two Peloton bikes, two ellipticals. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants. Great staff.

The valet staff were nice.

The customer service wasn’t the best when I checked in ( jessica), the rooms weren’t what I expected I assumed the amount of money I spent, the rooms would have more to offer. The valet was $40 a night and did not offer alternative parking incase it isn’t in someone’s budget.
