The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa

The bathroom was sub par; I called and spoke to the lovely woman who helped check us in; she was extremely accommodating

I like the convenience and ample parking space. I wasn’t satisfied with the hallways and unit interior.

Could be revamped into one of the best and most prestigious hotels in Tampa. There is an amazing ocean view and access to great restaurant and entertainment.

It was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. There was mold on the ceilings, the rooms look run down, old and super dirty. The rooms smelled like weed and had a weird odor to it. The bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in months. Things were falling apart. There was someone who offered my kids drugs in the lobby and there was prostitution happening in the lobby and front desk did nothing. It looks nothing like the pictures they have posted absolutely nothing! We ended up leaving after the first night as my son started having issues breathing more likely because of the horrible conditions of the rooms. The pool looked like it has not been kept up with in years. It’s not a safe place for families with children! Do not stay here! It’s not worth it!

Walking distance to Whiskey Joes

The room was absolutely disgusting!!!! I had to use a whole can of Lysol Bathroom Cleaner before I was even comfortable enough to take a shower after my 10 hour ride. It is supposed to be non-smoking and you couldn’t open the balcony door because of the smell of marijuana! Don’t waste your money!!!

I had a great time during my stay! The room was clean and had a comfy bed. The pool was nice. The hotel is also in walking distance of a really great restaurant!

Typical beach hotel. Not the best.

Perfect place to stay. It’s close to the airport but you would never know it! The water view rooms are worth it.
