Mercure Townsville

Car parking a long way from room and not secure. Property is quite old and dated now however rooms prices don’t reflect that.

The hotel is old and tired. It need to be more modernised.

The rooms could have been more up to date and modern. It feels like it was built 30 years ago and nothing has changed then.

We were busy attending Army and Anzac Day Ceremonies so only returned at night, but have stayed at Mercure before, I liked it so returned!

The only direct flight from Sydney leaves at 0615 and arrives Tville 0930! Similar to last time myself and friends come on the Direct Flight, it's a bit of a stretch waiting until 1400 for a clean room and I know that's more our concern than yours! I know you cannot book in until 1400, just asking if anything can be done about the Sydney early arrivals?

The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant is well positioned.

The aircon was noisy. The room we were in was very basic. I have stayed in better rooms there.

I love the pay on arrival then paying online.. close proximity to food outlets

The pool was a nice feature to the motel

The rooms had bugs all through them, the bathroom was really mouldy- and I’m not just talking about in the silicon, it was all over the roof and behind the door. Smudge marks all over the back of the door and my supposed to be white towel had marks on it fresh from the shelf

Location, clean and great pool and restaurant. Great for the family
